Yes they work for csgo, most work fine on their csgo servers, and a couple are from csgo's gamebanana or other sites like mapeadores

Maybe also putting a message on the server chat advertisements saying something like "If you're Traitor or Detective type !menu to access special items." That and/or having that little pop up in the middle of your screen come up saying the same thing. Regardless though, always gonna have those people who don't read and you have to tell them anyways :/

They just restarted the servers to fix some issue, they'll be back up right about now.

There's this Tracer player model I found for gmod on the steam workshop. Now trying to make it work for CSGO is another thing. There are a bunch of other models that people have ported over for use in Source Filmmaker/gmod if you google around. One example is here.
