  1. thank you @Greggy G @John @fozilla mirefox and @thuxysfor being in the vc with me right now. yall are cool
  2. ITT: Idiots reveal they are bigoted and homophobic over a scene in a fucking Disney movie. Me personally? Of course not! But when the general collective questions why you hold your morals and call you and those who hold similar "morals" out... you should turn to some introspection and really wonder how moral your views are. What will hiding children from this effectively do? Delay the inevitable? They'll see that shit in school, on the streets, or in porn eventually. If you'd screen something like this from your hypothetical children, it really shows how much of a pea-brain you are.
  3. Seems like a fun event. I usually have D&D at this time, so I don't think I'll be able to make it
  4. Fwiw, this one sentence proves how much of a fucking idiot you are.
  5. Listen man all I'm saying is people shouldn't piss their pants over two grown adult women smooching in an animated movie. They aren't pushing an agenda. It was not sexual, it was a fucking greeting. If these people want to hide their children and keep their minds closed to the reality of the real world, that's their problem. The specific argument of the movie being bad because of a .5 second moment where two women kiss is inherently homophobic. People unable to accept that this should be viewed as a completely normal part of life, much like a man and a woman kissing in the SAME SCENARIO are simply disillusioned and are lying with themselves to cope that the world is becoming more accepting of non-traditional relationships.
  6. There's a difference between gore and pretending that something outside of the concept of heteronormativity doesn't exist.
  7. my brother in christ they literally filmed near a concentration camp in china do you think they care about ethics?
  8. was always a good time seeding and playing ZE. ZE may be lowered to its grave now, but I'll always remember when we brought it back to life for a solid few months. have a good one bud
  9. Idk if this will be seen or not, but I am unable to make it. My topic of discussion: Shut down enough servers to go down to 1 dedi to reduce costs.
  10. Apples...

Yeah all this is cool but don't let this distract us from the fact that the Warriors blew a 3-1 lead in the NBA finals
  11. Apples...

Maybe don't talk with food in your mouth?
  12. I personally hope we get a guest appearance from Trucker Bill, he was so insightful when he came to the meeting. Hope he's doing well.
  13. Petition to refer to @Valkofficially as "Cloud 9 Hoodie" until he changes his name back to LampShade
  14. I honestly forget if it ever made it to the public eye but this shit was suggested like literally over a year ago by @TheZZL. I think when I was tasked when sending @BoMa long list of shit to push out in the forums update that may have been on the list? Honestly don't remember at this point but iirc from reading through the massive changelogs and documentation from the company we use for the forums, this should(?) be possible. This goes beyond trans people as well, this would also apply to non-binary individuals who don't particularly associate with any gender at all. But yeah @bomb does the forums man have any thoughts?
  15. Speeding

I used to speed everywhere but then I got in an accident so usually I keep it to a cool 5-10 over now depending on the area. Highway I'll still cruise around 80. I didn't go much faster than that before the accident but I'm at least a bit more cautious now. Never gotten a speeding ticket and hope to keep it that way for as long as I can.
  16. can we just get rid of all of them i've only been to ihop and olive garden of these and neither are good
  17. Yes, two. Four if you count the ones I'll inherit from my dad once I get out of college.
  18. Honestly we can argue here all day about who's right and who's wrong between us but it doesn't change the fact that nothing has changed and nothing will change. Nothing has changed since Columbine. Nothing has changed since Sandy hook. Nothing will continue to change in our current political climate. It's almost like we're stuck in a military-industrial complex where weapons companies profit and pay off politicians to maintain this status-quo of innocent people dying. Until we the people come together to vote out corrupt politicians, aint shit changing.
  19. Would you care to explain further into this? you're from there so you may know more than myself but I read this and got curious... So I found the 2019 Homicide report from NZ and only 12% (96 total deaths) involved a firearm. Now, any amount of murder is too much murder but I would find it hard to call that a shooting epidemic when in the US in 2019, about 74% (10258 total deaths) were from a firearm. Source Source 2 So does the US? Not to defend manny because his take was also shit but like America is literally being held together by the fact we're rich as a nation. Much like these other places, we have crumbling infrastructure, political corruption, social/political divide, failing education system, etc. This is completely irrational and will never happen
  20. I do not know anyone that says we need MORE guns. There are quite literally more people than guns in this country. Source Also small counter point but there are guns that are treated as collectibles such as older weapons, war weapons, etc... Which there are surprisingly more than you would think. America is one of the very few countries founded on an idea, rather than geographic borders, ethnicity, religion, etc. We were founded on the idea of freedom from our oppressors so it is engrained in the very founding of this country that people want the means to do the same again. The current political climate is the very reason why this keeps happening this way. The general populous tend to cry out for extreme measures, when a measure (Bipartisan Background Checks Act) that supposedly had bipartisan support and was PASSED by the House sits in congress waiting for the senate to do something with it. How does anyone expect further gun control measures when something that has support from both parties can not even get passed? Removing them altogether lol what a joke. Many (mainly republicans, also the majority of gun owners) people had a fucking conniption when we made them wear a piece of cloth over their face to prevent COVID from spreading as easy... they protested the masks and publicly caused issues by not complying with a simple measure to protect people. How do you think it would go if the government tried to take their guns? Call me a fucking nutcase but I bargain if there was a government-mandated buyback or seizure of guns, there would be some sort of civil insurrection or civil war. This is the furthest thing from the truth. You could not be more wrong. In a report published by the DOJ, they cite that "Among prisoners who possessed a gun during their offense, 90% did not obtain it from a retail source", meaning that... you guessed it! The MAJORITY of guns used in crime, and especially violent crime are obtained illegally. For the case of school shootings and mass shootings, yes, those people do obtain them legally but I don't think they necessarily care about what happens after they do what they do. But what about the 19,000 other murders by gun last year? That's where the majority of guns are obtained illegally. I am fully in favor of stricter gun laws including more lengthy background checks, required gun training to own a gun, hell I'm not even opposed to needing a permit to own a gun that would including the background checks, training, psych eval, etc. But restricting some guns from being purchased will do absolutely nothing because criminals that want to use those guns in a crime will obtain them since they are out there. Sticking with the emotional appeal of "guns hurt people " will get the country nowhere. Based on the statistics, training safer gun owners (in my opinion) is the best way to reduce gun crime, or even maybe some sort of anonymous illegal gun buyback to get the guns used in crimes off the streets for financial compensation.
  21. try not to get banned on another server for scripting this time grats
  22. Good movie.
  23. Ah yes let's post a pirated link on a public forum what a great idea fucking idiot
  24. Source? Any source I've checked says there is nowhere near this amount. Obviously we are way way way more than any other country, but there have not been 200+ school shootings THIS YEAR. Idk. As awful as it sounds they happen so often I'm almost numb to this. I don't feel like any change will occur with the current government officials. We need more thorough background checks and required safety training and maybe even a permit before someone can own a gun. While they're at it up the age to 21, for all guns. RIP to the poor young souls who won't live out their lives. Food for thought-- Sandy Hook was 10 years ago. Those kids would be 16 and 17 now. So many politicians swore it would never happen again. Here we stand in 2022 and nothing has changed. Nothing will change until we throw those up top out.
