Took the subie out to do some donuts and figure eights in a snowy, empty parking lot. I had no idea what I was doing but still managed to have a blast without breaking anything. I've gone ahead and ordered a GoPro to get some nice POVs in the snow and for the mountain twisties around here. Car is a 2005 Legacy GT that has given me constant headaches since I got it: blown turbo, cracked radiator, bad gaskets, etc. Regardless, it's the most fun I've ever had in a car and don't see myself driving anything other than AWD in the future. I've done a small handful of mods and have more on the way, but I'd like to dump it for a newer STI when I get the chance.

Gonna be honest, I've used our discord like twice. Wherever I click on a text channel it's people I don't know talking about something I don't care about. I've hopped into VC a few times but usually it's one person streaming a game and 4 other people muted because they don't want to hear them yelling about their game. I still think switching to Discord was a good move, but Teamspeaks only feature being that you could talk to other people definitely helped it feel more alive.

I'm a stomach/side sleeper and I can only use a really thin pillow. Serta has this really nice one that cools your head when you sleep or something and it's the only pillow I've actually liked.

I'm not the biggest fan of the hippity hops, but as someone who's watched fantano for 4-5 years on and off, I can say these ratings seem pretty understandable. First and foremost, the actual numbers are more of a meme if you look at the things he's given a 0 or 10 on, but even still, they seem accurate. He's not assigning numbers just based on how arbitrarily "good" an album is but rather taking into account the artists previous works, the state of their genre, etc. If you actually listened to what he said you might have an easier time understanding what's going on. As for the little of this genre I do enjoy, it tends to be tracks that are lyrically rich or where the backing music actually has some sort of coherence and direction. This whole album sounds like it's intended to be listened to at full volume in a pos cadillac. Not particularly my cup of tea, and I can see why fantano or anyone else wouldn't see this weaksauce as visionary or a masterpiece.

Some people don't have great computers or multiple monitors and can't multitask easily. While they don't need to, I'm sure it's nice for them to browse the forums while in game. With that being said, I think the mobile site is perfectly fine, although I prefer desktop, and I use it all the time. I honestly can't think of how an app would be any different than the mobile site in terms of function or design. I believe on Chrome and some other browsers you can add websites to your homepage, or create shortcuts, which may be the best option for those so inclined.

With the semester ending I've moved back from my school in nowhere Appalachia to the busy suburbs. Working constantly and having to deal with how busy life is here has been fairly annoying but not too stressful. Whenever I finish school and move out, I'd definitely like to end up somewhere as peaceful and gorgeous as where my school is. I've also recently started seriously trying to work out for the first time in my life and it's fairly draining. I'm tired and sore most of the time, but I feel healthier and more confident.

When you clicked on this thread did you see a sign that said "No discussion"? Maybe I don't agree with someone I'm talking to and they don't agree with me. That doesn't mean the guy sitting on the fence next to us doesn't get something out of us running our gums. More importantly, you don't have to agree with someone to seek to understand them. Not everyone goes into conversations expecting to change someone's mind or collect upvotes, man...

I assume what you're proposing is that the ethical thing to do is to put other people's wellbeing before your own comfort and convenience. I'll give you that, that's a rather noble thing to think, despite how vague that is or how much it may vary from person to person; except that's not where you're drawing the line. There are LOADS more things that would qualify as over that line. Start with not leaving the house unless necessary, not going to work if you're not a mandatory employee (the current perception of that is overwhelmingly forgiving, but I'll leave it there anyways) or can't survive without that income, keeping a 6ft distance, practicing good hygiene and washing your hands frequently. If you want to readjust your line, go for it. With that being said, the productive way to go about things is to assess where you stand on this and encourage people who have already proclaimed that they're on your side of the line, not barking at people that clearly don't give a shit or getting angry about something you can't change. I see the lines of thinking you've mentioned - "slightly inconvenience" - echoed quite frequently. Clearly I've already addressed that this is a ridiculous metric to draw your line by, but even just mentioning it seems a bit off to me. Alright, it's a slight inconvenience to you, and maybe some of these are things are just too inconvenient, great. Why do you think this applies to everyone else? Why aren't they able to draw their own lines between slight inconveniences, substantial inconveniences, and things they just outright won't put up with? Just keep in mind who lockdowns affect the most, but drawing an imaginary line in the sand at masks and pointing at everyone on the other side for being literally Hitler while you continue to go outside willy nilly and put others at risk while you go get your McDonald's and go see your friends all day. Now I'm not pointing my fingers to name call you specifically, that's not the point. The point is that by and large people are continuing to put others at risk (while pointing their fingers at everyone else) and thinking a tiny piece of cloth absolves them of any guilt and will let them carry on with their lives like normal. Gonna go ahead and TL;DR this for the sake of clarity and so I don't keep reiterating things. The difference between where we are now and things returning back to normal is not the fraction of people not wearing masks. With the exception of the few Q-Anon retards out there that think this thing is a hoax, everyone out there has the same information you do and understands the risks of this thing, yet have decided they are not wearing a mask. Barking at them, wishing ill upon them, and punching them in the head - like people have been since January - is obviously not going to change their mind. Instead you can focus on things that YOU can do to keep YOU and your loved ones safe. As Americans, we've heard a lot about 'Freedom ain't free' and the 'price of freedom's growing up. It's generally equated to war in some sense, but that's not really what it's about. Every country faces war, free or not, and it's been ages since one has actually threatened our sovereignty. The price of freedom is that every other dumbass in the world gets the same freedoms you do to live their life the way they please, even if it's not in the best interest of everyone else. Learning to live with that is a large part of what being American or 'Free' is about.

This, but unironically. The social contract does not extend beyond the government; anyone who thinks it does is a Lennon tier dreamer. Forfeiting your own freedoms for no reason other than 'its the right thing to do' or for some arbitrary morality doesn't mean everyone else has to automagically do the same.
