1. OOF

I used to get the same issue on my last computer and got it again after reinstalling Windows. Not sure what exactly was causing it but verifying files only fixed it temporarily until it fixed itself.
2. Skrrt Skrrt

Got in a gnarly accident returning from work on Wednesday. Just a reminder to everyone to wear your seatbelt, and be attentive while driving. Be grateful for every day that God's given you, gamers
3. How do you keep this thing from going airborne? Seriously though, looks clean, great cable management!
4. Control and Death Stranding are the Video Game equivalent of Oscar bait lmao. A very small percentage of people you know will have actually played either, and a smaller portion would have considered them one of their favorite games. Nonetheless, they'll both likely be taking the cake in multiple categories. Modern Warfare blows every other game this year out of the water in terms of audio design despite being mostly shit in every other category I wish the indie titles weren't exclusively limited to ones that received the most coverage from outlets, but a solid selection anyways.
5. Didn't think we were gonna make it when you left either
6. Yes and thank you! Previous build was a rats nest so I decided to do it right this time. The AIO tubes were a pain to get right and the lack of six pins with my Power Supply (peep GPU) triggered me, but apart from that I'm very happy with it. Still on the fence about getting cablemods.
7. Apologize for the cumstains on the glass. I'm too lazy to clean it. Should I get RGB fans or nah? I'm probably just going to set them to white anyways.
8. Getting a SecretLabs Titan for Chrisimus this year. I looked into reviews and features and decided I would probably like it; I'd recommend doing the same. I have yet to sit in it, but I will give my thoughts when I do.
9. Surprisingly better than I would've expected.
10. Scrim is 128 tick. Other tickrates cause crashes and plugins to fuck up from what I recall. Don't really think it's a terribly necessary upgrade from the 102.4 tick most of our servers boast already.
11. The same could be said about Strikes and Bans, which is what I believe causes much of the drama in the first place. If the person is salty or just misunderstands the situation, it turns into a horrendous game of telephone and usually results in a lot of petty "Caution doesn't like them, etc." While, yes, a big part of WGBAY is pointing and laughing at idiots, it also serves as a way for other players to learn from mistakes, higher ups to explain their decisions, and precedents to be set.
12. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to play this map yet, but does anyone know if there is anything in place to stop Innos/Detectives from hiding out here the whole round? Seems a little bit broken considering our current ruleset that does not forbid non-Ts from delaying.
13. With WGBAY, and admin complaints being public, as well as the availability of the admin strike list to admins, I feel it's only appropriate to make a thread explaining demotions. The benefits of this are two-fold, Higher Ups appear more transparent, which is always a good thing, and they also are able to explain why decisions were made, countering some of the speculation and animosity that comes about whenever a demotion occurs. While it could be argued that this would just cause drama, I think it pales in comparison to some of the outlandish gossip we've heard in the past and may prevent situations like what happened with Reece (if I'm thinking of the right situation) from occuring. Additionally, this helps other admins, staff, and even community members to learn from the mistakes of others (especially considering that situations that forgo Strikes would seem to be the most egregious).
14. Aight sick. I think one of the things that needs addressed, and can be fixed right now, is reasons for posts being deleted. Reasonings should be more specific and more accurately given. One of the ones that irks me the most is "Not Needed". What is really meant by this is "Not Appropriate" "Off Topic" or "Not Serious enough for the thread". Of course nobody actually says this, and the poster is left guessing at what the vague reason for deletion means. If "Not Needed" was a legitimate reason to delete a post in the first place, our forums would be pretty barren. Being more specific with these reasons also helps posters understand what can/cannot be posted, and what is considered a quality post. I think it would also be helpful to allow the poster of a deleted post to see their post that has been deleted so they can better understand why it was removed. CA+ could even highlight portions of their post for clarification. As Manny said, users should have a way to contest their deleted posts, but I think it would be a waste to create an appeal section for something like this. Reaching out to higher ups when you feel a post has been wrongly removed has always worked previously, and IAs/BDs being more strict on forum fairy CAs would likely help too. I don't really see any reason I'm showing who has deleted a post, it will cause more issues than it solves. Once again, any time I feel my post has been wrongly deleted, I go to a higher up in TS who can then get in touch with whoever deleted it and resolve the situation. I don't think it's worth the drama to share with everyone who deleted a post.
15. ight bet, condition being no overturned perms. fuck outta here fakes
16. You can start of with mentioning the server you're getting to; I assume Surf DM. I believe spawn camping is not conducive to the meta that the server managers are going for here. Additionally, spawn camping can be very discouraging to new players with our RPG system in place. Even if the victim manages to get the first shot off, it is unlikely they will be able to kill the camper. As far as I know, management has some things in the works to balance and remedy this predicament, possibly allowing camping in the future, but it's best that it's against the rules for now in my opinion.
17. D is generally bound to +moveright by default; is that what you meant or will we need to bind +left and +right? Any chance you could post some screencaps or videos of what this gamemode is like? It sounds cool, but I haven't the slightest clue what gameplay is actually like.
18. https://www.esrb.org/ratings/100491/Counter-Strike%3A+Global+Offensive/ Just my two cents, anyone who chooses to play a Mature game, especially online, accepts that they may see or hear...Mature content.
19. I believe he's referring to using a PCIE soundcard, DAC, or AMP. These are preferable if you are looking for absolute studio quality, but the Quadcast and other competing USB mics will be more than enough for playing games, streaming, or even making YouTube videos.
20. Jailbreak is a very fun and easy gamemode to get into. Make sure to read up on the rules thoroughly if you plan on playing CT! It's not nearly as good as TTT, but it can be a nice break if TTT starts getting stale.

22. I've been sporting a pok3r (very similar 60%) for a few years now and a Quadcast since release. I can tell you that the Quadcast is well worth it. The ducky is a bit more complicated. You'll be getting a pretty solid entry level mechanical keyboard with a few caveats. No matter how much foam and o-rings you use, it is going to be a relatively loud keyboard. I personally don't mind, and have learned to tune out my satisfying clicky cherry blues. Additionally, you will be getting it pre-soldered, which means your switches will be very limited. You'll likely have to choose between whatever Cherry/Gaterons it comes with, but these are once again solid entry level switches. The 60% form factor is something that will take some time to get used to, but doesn't end up being too much of a hinderance.
23. As someone who has been using wireless headphones for over a year, they're dogshit. They're heavy, sound bad, and you'll forget to charge then and have to plug them in anyways. Dish out some cash for some Arctis Pros if you want a good wireless experience, or even get some wireless earbuds if you have a desk mic. Alternatively, try to go for some better cable management and you'll get much better sound out of wired headphones (with or without a DAC/AMP) for less. I've been using the Void Pro Wireless and I rate them 4/10, ordering some 599s and an AE-7 once I've saved up.
24. Later Skaters

Rest in peace, sweet prince
