Obligatory Monthly Promotion Thread

Gator told us if we didn't make a promotion thread he was gonna demote all of us and prevent us from ever being staff again and blah blah blah. So yeah fuck it I scrounged up a few people who are probably worthy of a promotion. Enjoy.

 

 

I'm gonna get the shittiest promotion out of the way first so you guys can actually enjoy the rest of them. This person does a ton of work around here, so much so that it's actually annoying to deal with him most of the time. He never shuts up and always finds something else to drone on about in the staff discord, making him the perfect person to harass Mace. Please join me in welcoming the retarded kid from down the road, TheZZL, to the marketing team. His responsibilities will include:

 

• Manage all third party sites/applications.
• Manage all advertising, sponsorships, and affiliations.
• Recommend upgrades and general marketing aspects for the community.
• Research what the community likes / doesn't like.
• Upkeep the image of SG and help expand.
• Work with the Media Team to manage branding and community design.
• Work with Media team to manage social media accounts (Youtube, Twitch, etc).

 

Next we have two up and coming stars grabbing another promo thread mention to put up on the staff fridge. I'm so proud. These two are great guys, way better than ZZL, and I believe if they keep putting in good work around here they will go places. Per Kooper's request, please give a to Paggos and Nate. (that's his name there is no period here) who will be joining the Event Coordinators Coalition Team   Events Team. Their new responsibilities will include:

 

• Organize, plan, and run events
• Manage/Promote special events on our servers
• Manage and monitor gaming tournaments
• Make sure servers are ready for all special events
• Schedule events to fill servers in need via the steam community
• Work with the Server Managers to create events that cater to community interests

 

 

I'd like to take a moment here to tell you a story about a kid named AL3X who used to play here. AL3X was a bit of a trouble maker and at often times toxic, eventually earning himself a slew of bans ending in a permanent vacation from here. Eventually he came back and managed to get unbanned, having grown up and matured...and he even managed to become a staff member eventually. The point of the story is that sometimes people come back, they change, and even surprise you; so when you see them doing that....give them the chance to prove it. Please join me in welcoming that once trouble maker of a kid now turned professional staff member, 3ni, to the Community Advisor rank. His responsibilities will include:

 

• Work with the higher staff on implementing important decisions and projects
• Handling player complaints and issuing bans
• Moderation of the forum
• Give awards to members on request
• Send group invitations to members on request
• Post in-game server problems on the forum
• Help in any way to make the servers fun
• Handle reported posts on the forum

 

 

Finally we have a big triple promotion happening to bolster one of our very important teams. I'm not even gonna bother introducing these guys because you know them and you know what they do around here. Lets get some orange up in here. Please join me in welcoming Creten..........Arctic............and Mace as your new Server Managers.  Besides swearing their undying allegiance to Trazz, their responsibilities will include:

 

• Verify that servers are operational
• Reboot dead/lagged servers
• Assist in training new admins
• Search for new maps for all servers
• Upload maps to the servers and fast downloads site
• Edit map lists & rotations

 

 

Nah, lets do one more...just to spite Gator. This is a completely unsanctioned promotion and BDs are pretty much doing a full YOLO buy rn so if you don't see us here in a week you know why. My 2nd favorite Canuck, one badass streamer, and a dude who has probably fixed your mom's pipes....

Please stand up, get up on your mic, give me some hootin and hollerin....because Hawks is joining the Internal Affairs Team. His responsibilities will include doing IA stuff.
