  2. Besides the "huehuehue, nice misspell", you're on a forum full of people who play video games- do you really have to ask?
  3. This map is OG as fuck, besides the cells taking 45 seconds to open automatically this updated version actually has some great secrets on it and I've seen this played fully plenty of times. Play it more than once before you start asking for it to be straight-up removed lol.
  4. This is what this thread was made for.
  5. Moonlight, understanding how the servers work? LOL.
  6. Supreme Drop

I'd rather look like some basic dumb motherfucker wearing normie-shit clothes with $200 more to spend on my steady diet of nuggies and fries.
  7. I like the banner and thread format, good job EDIT: fook u @euro good job @floffypus
  8. You realize this is how Calladmin worked and it did not function properly whatsoever, right? Just cause you punish someone for something doesn't mean people aren't going to do it, some are going to be more likely to do it instead of less. How are random people going to know to be discouraged from doing this based on one subtle ban? SG like many other communities has people who know the rules extremely well but knowingly break and skirt them literally on a more than weekly basis and others who don't even look at the forums- so even if it was decided to make some announcement post (as was done with Calladmin) the effect probably would likely be negligible.
  9. I used to hang around and grief the fuck out of servers with a pretty large group of guys, and let me tell you any kind of vote function on the end of player enforcement is a bad idea unless you add dozens of restrictions which really make the "effectiveness" of it void. When I was staff or even when I was a player there was constant almost daily instances where one person would say something and literally the entire server would bandwagon it on servers like JB and TTT. Even looking at servers like ZE where large groups of people are constantly fucking arguing and shittalking eachother I could see room for error. The purpose of an idea like this is to create less oversight, more player-sided enforcement of rules which falls apart when you need more oversight to make sure people aren't abusing it. Someone who is breaking the rules could just as easily be banned through player complaint or calling an admin online with there being very few scenarios where both would fail, I'm however not saying it's a perfect system. Ironically player complaints would be same avenue that would be used to stop possible abuse of a voteban which may even not get reported or caught in time. Taking a partially unreliable, under-used system and making it the catalyst to enforce abuse by something that is meant to make things easier is in my opinion, counter-logic. This system would work exactly the same as Calladmin in terms of oversight, which is exactly why it is not a good idea. Most suggestions like this that mean to automate or add structure to some part of missing administration are not as much a solution as they are a symptom of the problem.
  10. to help griefers, micspammers, and general rule breakers ruin everyone else's fun*
  11. You have to play on T side for an hour before it expires, did you do that?
  12. @Greggy G and I didn't win, this shit's rigged as fuck.
  13. Super weird that people have to make threads asking about stuff like this when there is literally a module made, used by admins to track CT bans similar to SourceBans lol... It's not even like it's private either cause everyone can access it, it is just not really publicly showcased anywhere I can see. Something I came to notice aswell is that ALL OF THE BANS are EXPIRED, which either means we have some super dedicated players getting banned or that the module is tracking elapsed time and not playtime.

    BULLYHUNTER_77 reporting for duty.
  15. @delirium thank u frand
  16. If someone can remove all of jackson69's visitor messages from my profile or unappove/approve them again somehow so I get the neverending "Unapproved Visitor Message" notification to go away I'd appreciate ya. Is really annoying and has been there for like 2 months now. @Prez @Liam Brown @delirium

  18. It's not on a monthly basis, they don't get away with it- they just renew their server tokens by using websites that sell tokens and a plugin that restarts said servers when they're banned. Last time I looked into it servers get banned ABOUT every 3 days. Valve has an automated system that bans servers, that's why months back when Nimmy tried to fix our hand models Caution ended up getting banned with literally no rebuttal, the servers went down for quite awhile, and they were forced to switch the servers to another account.
  19. Jokes aside just some actual questions. It seems somewhat redundant to do this on all of the servers does it not? Last time I checked a big part of doing this was fleshing out quite a bit of money for new server tokens every 3-7 days when the servers get inevitably banned, and doing that for multiple servers looked even more expensive unless you were buying an insane amount in bulk. Did you guys not use that automated-plugin (not gonna advertise it), has Valve given up on enforcing whatsoever, sponsored by a website, or is it something new/custom by Liam? If it's true that the servers are going to go down once every couple of days have you guys thought about how that might disrupt the bigger servers mainly like ZE, TTT, JB who's population might suffer? SG had a pretty stubborn, counter-productive stance on this months ago to the point where JB was literally bugged for well over a year out of fear of touching ANYTHING related to Custom skins/weapons/sprays/models etc.. even after I made multiple threads on the topic. I'm genuinely just wondering why the sudden 180 on the subject. At the time a few months back I was literally trying to reach out to other communities with the help of current BD's, AO's to see if Valve would consider changing their stance, remove token bans, or simply start enforcing their guidelines as this is what the guidelines and server list looked like- obviously to no avail. Anyway, just some questions out of curiosity- not sure if this is something that sprouted out of new connections/opportunities with the whole GCC thing but this post was extremely surprising given the past SG has had on this topic.
  20. CT's were already weak beforehand and round-times already too long, was an unnecessary confusing rule change.
  21. Some of those I completely agree with you, others make sense as they add something which can be compared to others for continuity's sake. In some instances an argument can be made for people who are abstaining due to "not standing out", "not admin material", "nothing noteworthy" as 6-15 people abstaining sometimes can really mean the person has other underlying issues that can be seen through reading the application, looking at stats, past history etc... With all that being said I think that useless Abstains with no content to them should be removed, as any other vote would be dealt with. Votes such as "Abstain. Don't really know you too well, but you seem nice and respected. Good luck!" have no place in an Admin Application, and letting them stick around encourages more idiots to post shit just like it for various dogshit reasons. Removing abstains sounds pretty counter-logic, encouraging people to actually enforce what is already in the Guide probably better in the long run.
  22. why doesnt all ts have anything nice to say about anybody
  23. ZE started this event from nothing (rank 2000-), TTT was pretty much the choice winner for the first month until everyone worked their ass off making events, afking the server, giveaways etc on ZE.. TTT has had it's rank been way higher than it currently is, and well within the top 100 numerous times. There were many days in the past few weeks (some days such as weekends and fridays) that make no sense for TTT to have the low players it did (hovering around 24 or lower). If people concurrently worked for the win on TTT's end, it was an extremely achievable win. Blaming the slot size saying you "cant go over an average of 30" when ZE averages 13 players makes no sense logically or mathematically.
  24. As a general rule of thumb basically don't feed dogs anything that you haven't actually looked up online prior, or know to not be harmful. I've had dumbass friends feed their dogs stupid shit because they've "never heard it was bad for them" and the laundry list of things is way too long to have that attitude in all honesty. You hurt this poor corgo everytime you act like a dipshit.
