The argument about whether you can KOS off of models is not extremely relevant to this post though I'd just like to mention it does not say it anywhere within the FAQ & Rules about whether it is allowed- so just make sure if you're gonna kill someone, you are for certain it was them. Feel free to make a new thread if you disagree with that notion, or if you find it in there please correct me. I don't think people should be able to switch models regardless midround, even if you can't KOS them it makes it extremely hard to know who to watch and who I should give what orders.

I think I've come up with a way to make this work, given we can get someone to actually put it into action. If we can't atleast we'll have something possibly for the future. This says it pretty much spot on. If we're going to do it the way you said it would make people overly kill hungry. We just got done removing a lot of the abuse-worthy elements from the server and I feel like this would do exactly as @delirium said. If you simply take a look at our other servers such as ZE, and TTT they've both ran into problems with how they've done their stats. I see an argument on the other end that can be made that we shouldn't give incentive to play Prisoner over Guards but having just sat here I have another idea. If we could make it so T side was based off of points, and CT side was based off of CT playtime (which is tracked by GameME). Maybe something tiered like (3 hours, 2 days, 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, 25 days). The server is doing fine right now, definitely not dying/dead. Given I agree with you that it's dropping in the ranks which is mostly due to a lack of admins and school. Personally I think CT is too difficult and on our servers I think it's pretty much been the nature of it all for CTs to lose over and over resulting in people playing less of it. Recently there has been multiple changes I've pushed for to make playing CT more hands on, which rewards good CTs. At the end of all the discussion it pretty much comes down to this, if we can't actually get it done then these are all just ideas. If @Nimmy @shoiep @Wesker (I think you worked on ZE's? rank plugin) wanna pursue/polish this idea I'm more than happy to help.

I was the one who said that on JB and to be honest it wasn't a complete idea, more of just me spitballing about stuff. I was gonna make a thread about it but I didn't have my idea fully thought out and was trying to think of an easy way to do it. Basically just thought adding some kinda tags for T side rankings would add a bit more incentive such as Scoreboard Karma on TTT & Tags on ZE. The problem with transferring over GameMe and doing the same as the ZE Plugin is that it incentivizes Guards to be kill hungry which is an awful idea. Anything we add would need to be strictly for Prisoners.

Might buy a nade skin to make it less easy to know what im throwing but generally I don't wear a lot unless it helps gameplay wise.

I think making it so your score on the board still worked as Karma currently does, then adding something like GMOD TTT's karma that displays in chat would be a good idea. Our players are very attached to this whole ranking thing, and while it doesn't make a lot of sense for people on this thread it is a fact that many of our most active players love/chase the high score.

When I first joined back Stunning & you were such a breath of fresh air among the stench of shit I was having wafted in my face constantly. You supported me when it was popular to mindlessly assfuck me, and were always a level-headed unbiased person to speak to. You are legitimately one of the most wisest, calmest, realest motherfuckers in this community I have ever met. I know you haven't been around much recently, but seeing you officially step away makes me both disheartend and happy to know you're gonna focus on what's important. This is pretty much how I feel, except for the fact that our forum arguements aren't much better than I can imagine a politics channel on TeamSpeak. I also simply cannot see anyone using a specific named channel for anything, it's such a fucking idiotic thing "oh okay lets go to the blah blah blah channel", people most of the time do not do that. If you want to discuss politics writing it out on the forums is easier for citations, easier to moderate, easier to get ideas across, and will probably end with much more constructive things said rather than just yelling at each other.

I agree with this part in completion. It encourages many people to RDM when there are no admins, kill people who are barely/arguably not even baiting, and overall serves no positive purpose. Speaking for the Karma system I think it has to stay no matter what at this point, even when we push the new update we're going to need it still as it's pretty popular among our players. Taking a look at everything else. You definitely have some good, creative ideas here. Good thread.

You can do custom LR's using the plugin, yes. You can set whatever parameters as long at the CT agrees to it beforehand.

There is little to no room for error in making it so below 500 karma (just throwing out a number) = a small ban. At a certain point whether or not someone doesn't know how to play, it's their fault anyway.

Reason I did it is cause Caution said that, and I'd like for there to be atleast some stats showing the other end of the stick besides the forums. If we were gonna take stats for before on the forums I didn't understand why not to take stats on the servers before aswell. I wasn't saying you guys wouldn't of done it, I just went out of my way to do it cause that's literally my rank and that's all that had been discussed before my post. EDIT: also ill keep updating my post with new results as the server pops change

That logic does not pan out at all. Discord is more popular, people have more accounts and downloaded clients than our active forum members without a doubt in my mind (you don't even have to make an account). You don't even have to download Discord, you can simply click a link and pop in.
