I really don't see the accuracy of a poll on the forums asking about something like this which we are trying to add to encourage our server regulars to get on a voice server, and increase interaction. Especially if we're looking to pick one over the other. I went out to try to see what players thought, and it's pretty much the same as my experiences have always been. I understand the vote alone isn't going to be used to do it, but I think looking at only a forum poll without looking at the servers is missing a large piece of data. I asked around on the servers using this. sm_vote "Do you guys prefer TeamSpeak or Discord" "I don't read the vote options" "TeamSpeak3" "Discord" PB, botched this screenshot kinda- apologies. Worth asking again with more/different people on. UPDATE ON PB, did it again 30 minutes later and actually screenshotted the end of the vote with the #2 voted option on there. PB again. TTT, should ask again with more/different people on. TTT, again. ZE, should ask again with more/different people on. MG, should ask again with more/different people on. I'm not trying to say that these votes alone constitute reason to do it, what I am however saying is that if we are just going to take opinion from people on our forums it's not going to cover all the reason behind making the change. We would be making the change not only because a bunch of people would like us to have a Discord, but because it would encourage growth within the community from players who aren't going to see posts like this at all.

I don't see the issue with that at all, TeamSpeak would be more secondary- Discord would have more of our current, active community regulars so it would be more primary.

Using Discord will turn away old-comers. Using TeamSpeak will turn away newcomers. Choosing between one or the other (not having both) in this situation to me, does not make sense.

Delaying is taking longer to get there than normal. If someone can get there faster through a different route it wouldn't be delaying. Usually CTs don't have the issue due to restricting 2nd floor, tictactoe. I wouldn't be able to tell you if said person was delaying without knowing where they were, it really all depends.

Tech N9ne has put out some really awesome shit (especially with Krizz Kaliko), and to add Krizz Kaliko himself has some awesome shit he's put out himself. If you haven't already, give their music a chance- it's really good. Surprises me a lot of younger kids unironically like the new age retarded shit but don't know who Tech N9ne is. I don't like judging rappers off a year interval cause some can tour for super long but over the past 1-2 years they've released some awesome music. Love this one. Narrative on this one is really awesome, such a cool middle-ground- great video. Honestly better than the last one I posted. Good one by Krizz released super recent. That's gonna conclude the event, thank you all the admins who stayed throughout it and the players who patiently waited for slots to open up. Was super fun especially when we had the slots raised. Will be looking to do this again in the future if we can figure out what was causing the technical issues. I have a few clips I might edit and upload later on for the shits & giggles. [Jailbreak] Players VS. Admins Event Tomorrow December 28th 5PM EST Originally done a few months back by Caution, the Players vs. Admins event was extremely well liked among the community. We did some silly deathgames, the cha cha slide, and gave away a ton of cool games & prizes! Lets get it going again! Administrators will be CT side, and our regulars will be on the T side! If we get the chance maybe we swap roles and see if our admins can figure out how to rebel together! The server's slot size will be increased to 64! We'll be giving away a few things for players who win games or we'll pull from a raffle! Special thanks to @eXtr3m3, @Nimmy and @sean for help setting this up. Another thank you to all the staff who show up and our regulars for keeping the server fun and alive for so long- you guys are the real MVP's. Hope to see you all there!

I think at the moment working with what we have and not spreading our staff even is something we should be making sure is done. Adding any new servers atleast in my opinion, for the next month- is a bad idea. Lets let our servers populations level off, put some work in and gain staff before we start trying to expand any further. Anyway, not saying I'm against Casual as an idea for the future, but I think SG has reached it limits more or less currently.

I was speaking for being able to see the IP and carry it over. As for both the other things you got my point. Back in I think June Discord was really unreliable a bunch of their servers went down and it was generally annoying to use. The permissions aren't a big deal, it's just worse than TS.
