  1. Sounds cool, will definitely show up
  2. I’m an innocent boy I don’t know what any of this means, I just wanted to hold hands. :’(
  3. Only if @delirium holds my hand during it.
  4. Asiago Cheese

    Man of culture.
  5. We start without them this time.
  6. I hate CinemaSins, but the only time I searched it up after the fact just to watch it get torn. Lmao.
  7. It might be worth considering reverting or walking back on this change slightly more, the admins have limited exposure to these players because they cannot be there 24/7 and as it is in someone's best interest to behave around staff members (of course when they know they're around). This is something similar to when we had admin recommendations, and it was in the best interest of the community to remove them. People can act like they're a central authority because they've played the servers for a few months every time an admin isn't on or when they aren't aware an admin is on. Everything from telling people to slay for rules that don't exist, micspamming, and so on. I look at several apps where admins themselves are making some extremely faulty posts that honestly a couple of years ago I could see being BTFO'd and removed by a member of the board. The only reason I mention this is to highlight that admins are normally just regular people who want to help the community, and on the other hand you have people with a huge ego who want to back it up with some power- the goal is to prevent those people from causing issues or getting rank. The admins are just as prone to post something stupid or help brigade a friend, they just aren't likely to post some stupid spammy bullshit that needs to be removed. It is much better to have it open to the public or if you guys wanted to walk it back slightly to see how it goes, consider closing it off to regulars+. Even then that change could be entirely questionable too, some people just don't use the forums and don't usually use any message boards at all. If the community is going to allow people to apply for admin with what is a small requirement and filter through that, but draw the line at letting people post their opinions and experiences that seems like a mild contradiction. Of course there is a line somewhere that has to be drawn and it is hard to find it, which is why I am giving feedback. People are hesitant to say anything about this change, I've spoken to a lot of people on Discord who seem to think it's not worth saying anything because the board either won't change their mind on it ever or because it's too early. To me that level of apathy is an issue. There's plenty of players with a lot of activity that are receiving a small amount of replies, and that is a very easy way (in my opinion) to create a system that is giving BD's & Staff very anecdotal feedback prone to manipulation & abuse of the system. I'm fully aware that the BD's aren't ignorant drooling NPC's that are going to read these threads and stamp them for approval. I'm also aware that once someone is made an admin it's not impossible that it will be removed, but the further the problem gets the worse off for everyone involved. This isn't to say SG is creating some trojan horse into the community with this system, but honestly to some level- if ignored, that could be true. There's definitely a blatant issue with not enough feedback or quality of feedback at hand. I think this has a chance to go too far, from what I heard it's being monitored but I wanted to offer some additional feedback. If this gets reverted I'll never post on admin applications again I promise.
  8. Nice little throwback, I hope the models aren't *matte black lmao. fuck u deli
  9. The List v2

I’ve played comp with this guy. There’s nothing to worry about he probably would somehow manage to fuck up hitting the one hit knife.
  10. Made shitty map years ago Admin vs Regs event I legit captioned this "DELIRIUM NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", my god lol.
  11. We did this on JB awhile ago, was really fun great job Asher.
  12. A lot of good ideas and high aspirations here. I don’t have anything to add about the Twitch hosting but that finding reasonably talented, appropriate, entertaining small streamer with a consistent schedule is hard so if you find one I would hope we’re teaming up. I do think the idea that SG could grow way, way bigger past one of the OG CS communities as reasonable but not under the current model. I was telling someone the other day that GFL holding the #1 CS:GO server for years I would of thought they would of already reached the apex of being worth millions of dollars but it hasn’t happened yet. CS:GO is still doing extremely well so I wouldn’t panic and try leaving it just yet though, I’m just saying that in terms of being more; the potential has and will always be there.
  13. It's pinned use it, don't use it.
  14. I know @delirium made a joke about this, but if someone isn't taking initiative you can do this yourself similar to Black Rains movie night thread (date/time poll voting), have one admin present to enforce and operate on a first come first serve basis, with others who want to play having to wait to swap out with bottom fraggers or something. Probably worth tagging @Trazz too.
  15. Centering and quoting walls of text.
  16. Ingame chat filters are okay to enforce rules that already exist, if those rules are absolute in that you can never ever say those bad no no words. For everything else, and I really mean anything else that isn’t already in the rules right at this moment: https://www.esrb.org/ratings/100491/Counter-Strike%3A+Global+Offensive/
  17. I hope this thread doesn't get nuked, but if it does I'll PM you with legitimate longform feedback. I respect your hustle and I honestly expected you to post this thread, not read a single reply, and then go next forums to do it all over again. I love Stanley Parable, Beginners Guide, and every mental fuck type game in that sphere, it really puts people in a state where they're open-minded and trying to figure whatever out. If you guys haven't played these games, play them. They're sick.
  18. i second this, amazing game
  19. I think his point is that it's a small community of people on a game that is sub-100 rank on steam for player count (5000-6000 people). Obviously his post is a tad bit pessimistic but I think in being pessimistic it misses a point about making niche servers or making any server in general sometimes. If someone were to go and make this server, which likely won't happen (if we're being real) the thing that will make it work will be a genuine passion for getting right & integrating players into the community. There's no law that states that we couldn't be the ying to GFL's yang, but doesn't SourceJump defeat the purpose abit? Moving on from that. Just want to add some additional points which could help down the line; it's likely this is useless minutia butt fuck it. Here is CS:S Bhop rankings. For similarities sake I'll take GFL server for reference, which is the 3rd highest, US based, pretty similar to us admittedly. Take notice that while I mentioned the community for this is very niche, that GFL does pretty well. How well is pretty well though? The other US based one, LacunaHops does okay but you have to realize that a server ranked in these numbers on CS:S is still doing worlds worse than anything near that on CS:GO. Feel free to read through this here or if you want to just go on GameTracker and look yourself: 30 day Historical Chart for GFL (RANK 342): Average (past month): 5 30 day Historical Chart for Lacuna (RANK 508): To draw a comparison here is our current CS:GO bhop server (RANK 2406): Average (past month): 3 It's not completely impossible that we could have a bhop server on a different game and have it do well. It's just that we have a bhop server on a game where these servers do exceptionally well already and we haven't been able to capture the US audience like EGO, GFL, FN and so on have. A lot of this just comes down to having someone or a couple of someones who really loves the gamemode. I wouldn't support removing CS:GO Bhop, but I would be okay with just adding a CS:S one based on this information. Trying to increase our average players by 2 would seem a bit drastic, there are easier ways for the server to perform better.
  20. Best of luck in your new roles.
  21. As a kid I had to haul ass to get myself a card from the 7/11 for that supporter rank, I got ROBBED.
