I've played on this map several times and people always had a great time from what I recall. A lot of people here voiced their opinions against the map due to the amount of deathgames when that in itself is a huge reason as to why I love it so much. The variety and the ability to have choices between many deathgames is the best part of the maps and I would not want to see this map taken away. I don't even recall having moments where players would rtv the map off because of it being boring or not fun, usually we play it all the way through with almost no one complaining about it.

Ok so we went from !calladmin to !rdm to !report as compromise when the sole function of !calladmin is to bring an admin onto the server when there are no admins on the server. You want a command for admins who are currently on the server to directly contact and tell them of your situation. This is literally Admin chat. for whoever is new press your [Team Chat button] (your "U" key by default) then press [shift] and while holding that button press 2. after that you type "[name] rdmed me". As absolute sarcastic as I was right there, I just do not see the reasoning for this entire debate

Wait wait what? Who said you can't type !calladmin when an admin is online. Of course you can type it, the admin will just tell you to not if he is online and then will handle your complaint. No one is going to ban you for !calladmin once when an admin is online. If literally the only reasoning for this is I'm too lazy to type "[name] rdmed me" I have absolutely no clue what else you might want. you literally will still have to type out additional details of the situation so the admin can come to a conclusion so this argument of it being easier than typing a sentence is completely ridiculous.

You're asking for an additional command that serves the same purpose as an already existing command? Am I missing some details behind why you need this or is your only reason for wanting !rdm is so you don't have to write an explanation through admin chat/!calladmin?

The same people complaining about hat sizes affecting their game play are the same people who can't hit a head shot when the guy is afk. This would be a lot of work and hassle for the few who always complain and will still complain if this suggestion was fulfilled.

I was there when we played that Italy match, in fact I was the admin who made the vote and set it up for all of us. With he combination of players (being both not very entertaining to either team or knowledgeable about the map) I see no reason to take away 2 maps already listed by @Phoenix_ and even more so give the opinion that every hostage map is the same and not even give them a chance based on one bad experience many months ago. Most of these maps (excluding the old map version) I know are on the admin nomination list right now and from what I know don’t need a lot to any effort in putting in the player nomination list. The last time I had asked Exk to put a few older maps in it it was declined (if I remember correctly I think the reasoning was something about wanting more serious matches? I’m not too sure so @Exk will have to remind me). I know that recently there have been a lot of posts from the managers viewing scrim as an alternative to MM so that it should be more fun and relax intended so I do hope with that same mentality these maps would be added in, including office and some of the other very popular seasonal maps on the admin nomination list right now.

I like these bunk bends more aight but seriously, if you're posting an event you might as well explain the event in detail and not just saying what u would like the models to be. Since its been five days without a further explanation this should be rejected. edit: just noticed that there are a fuck ton of events that aren't marked with reviewing, approved and/or rejected and wanted to know if any of these would become of use or not? maybe have the events team sort them out into piles if not done so already.

If those specific maps aren't on the server and would like them to be added/reviewed you should fill out this map suggestions form so that the manager of the server can test and add it if they want it.

This exact question was just answered by @Dominic in this thread but discussion on whether or not this is how it should be is still occurring so make sure you voice your opinion on that thread as well.

The approach I'm looking at this potential server is the same way I'm looking at our MC server right now. We have moments when popularity for the server dips almost entirely, sometimes it comes back gradually again and sometimes everyone just comes on all at once. My expectation of a popular server for a game like MC and Rust wouldn't be constrained in seeing how many people join the server in a weeks to even a months time but a longer period of time (say a quarter to half a year?), similar to how caution had said that the MC server will become official if there is a 6+ month period with steady population (I think). I mentioned trying the server out as an MGT first because its one of three options that I see having a new server and RP Gmod and the current MC server is a great example of the other two options. Either going in raw like RP gmod and work on it overtime hoping to find a population that is motivated on playing the game mode for months at a time or the way we have our MC server right now and having a separate team entirely fund and build upon it with requirements for it to become an official SG server. The reason why I didn't use the example that MC is going for right now is because Idk anyone willing enough to fund a rust server plus find or be knowledgeable enough to code and or work with plugins for the specific game. I feel like the same potential filled feeling a lot of people are having about having a rust server is the same when we were discussing on the RP Gmod server and then ultimately decided to go full force and hope it would work long time. I personally have never played nor own the game, my knowledge on the actual game is limited to the few videos I've seen from it so the best advice I could push for would be to test the popularity of a rust server as an MGT and later have discussions on a full time server. I would personally buy the game and give an mgt a shot. Having a giveaway to give peeps a copy of the game would also be a nice touch to add in the popularity.
