Hi. I'm Greggy G and I wouldn't be surprised if you don't know me. I haven't been a part of this community as long as so many other people who have stepped down previously but I know I've stayed long enough to recognize the amount of changes and the wave of newer generation members/regulars and some even admins. When I first joined the community one of the first things that inspired me to wanting to become admin were step down posts of higher ups usually AO+ and how they had long stories and fond memories of their times on SG and boy do I got some memories lol. I think I relate to a lot of people when it comes to how we joined the community and obviously it's by getting banned lol. Was a pretty weird moment for me as I had then realized that the servers I played on were so much more then servers but an entire community filled with people from all around the world coming to one place, even if it was on the internet. I never really understood how gaming communities worked at the time and SG became the first ever community I became a part of and I really am glad that I found it. I'm going to skip the drama parts of my little SG adventure and let me just say there was a lot, too much if I have to be honest but what happened happened. It's really weird to think back of everything that has happened so far and I could only imagine how many more memories some other older legends have but either way I'm glad I managed to take a slice out of the SG pie for myself. This community became a big part of my life really quickly and I'm really grateful that it did because I managed to get through a lot of rough times with the people and friends I made here. I'm so grateful that I managed to make such great friends that I even went out into SG meetups, something I never thought I would do when I initially joined and all I can think about now is the next meetup. In general I would like to say thank you to everyone on SG, whether you're a higher up staff member, a newly promoted admin, or any and all members and regulars, thank you for all the memories. My favorite part of reading past step down threads were individual mentions because it just shows that those people will forever be in their minds and in general had so many great memories made that sometimes you can't ever remember them all, so here ya go. @Suri, @Leon Mordecai, @Clamor, You three became my first ever great friends and I respected the hell out of you guys when I first joined. I always wanted to become a staff member to say that I am one of you guys and I'm glad to say I was. I know we don't talk as much anymore but that doesn't mean you guys don't have a place in my heart for all the fun times and amazing laughs we had. O and I guess its only right to say but I don't think I would ever had joined the community if it wasn't for Suri banning me so Thank you for that too, even tho I had to endure being a meme for an entire year . @Souce Boss, You became probably my longest friend on SG and I don't regret it at all. The amount of fucking laughs I had with you is just insane and the way you always keep a calm and collected voice/tone even when I would get mad at you is just one characteristic of you that I really appreciated, to be able to talk to you about anything was definitely a big help and I have always appreciated you for all of our talks. Hope to see you in the next meetup soon man. @Im Sad @Montag you two fuckers had become such great friends at the start of 2018 and you guys where always my goto mates to have fun and always laugh about the most retarded shit in the world. I would have to say I probably had the craziest moments with you guys the most because of our weird combinations of characteristics and charisma that IMO blended amazingly at most times. What I really appreciate out of you guys was the amount of times we actually got mad at each other for our own reasons but still always came back together and realized no amount of arguing or retarded actions would really pull us apart. Thank you for everything so far and I only hope to continue our amazing moments, both on teamspeak, in game, and hopefully one day in real life. @Black Rain @Korean Ninja I don't even think I can comprehend the amount of times I should say thank you to the both of you as you two became such great mentors and in general amazing friends. What (imo) should have been an awkward and off relationship became something so much more that I could have never anticipated. I can talk to you guys about anything and everything and hear what I need to keep going and I can only hope that I have returned the favor myself. Love you both, can't wait for April While writing this, it became so much more apparent just the sheer amount of people that I have come to know, love, and relate to in so many ways that it would actually be impossible to mention everyone. This has been said before by others in their step down posts and I always thought it was bullshit but now I really understand how it feels. Again thank you to everyone, its been an actual blast the past two years and while I may be gone from the higher-up ranks of Steam-Gamers I will still be on TS3 and in game(as much as I can). I know a lot of people wanted to know why I chose to step down and the only way I can put this is that I felt my time on SG in the higher ranking positions has drained me from all of my passion and motivation to keep going. Having said that, I respect the hell out of all the ongoing older higher ranking staff members still kicking it now to keep SG as good as it could always be. Thanks for the all the memories SG, hope to make a lot more sooner or later.

This ^ Usually when admin apps are rejected they are for "special cases" of users who either don't meet the requirements to apply yet or for those with exceptionally long reapply dates (ex: anything above 6 months). As mentioned by @Dominic we have had many players get rejected and then come back and become admins and even go very high up in the ranks so don't be discouraged. If you where rejected, for any reason, just follow the advice given and do your best and it will be noticed. Locked as Answered

Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone who's been a big influence and helping me learn and grow for the past (soon to be) 2 years on SG. Its been a literal roller coaster of a ride and I don't think I see the finishing loop any time soon. Again, thank you to everyone and I hope to be a bit more active on the servers to catch up with all of the new members/admins. Congratulations to Gator and Wawa on Administrative Manager, I believe you two are a perfect blend that can help drive the Administrative Team forward for current AT members and future team members. To Agent Wesker, you're amazing when it comes to the technical side of anything SG related and am very happy that you found yourself in the team that best suites you and hope you can continue your great work and to help the newly promoted JTT and pass along your knowledge to them.
