    Yeah by the time "time travel" has been invented the entire world would probably know about it already, to go from the first time machine to flawlessly moving an entire human from one time to another would take a very long time so this probably wouldn't happen if someone were to visit their past self through a fully successful time warp (as the topic of time travel existence would have already been known). Unless in the future we're all run by some military government that covers up everything

  12. Considering what others are saying I'm just going to say that we want to stay as closer to the vanilla gameplay and having CTs rely on a third party source to save themselves all the time such as the ctbuy menu is a no-no in my opinion, the ctbuy menu is fine as is.
  13. Ok i was just throwing it out there but maybe adding a flash, a bit of armor or a smoke for purchase would help. No guns What I suggest would only take place in the first 15 seconds of the round. T's wont be able to buy items in times of need but they will be able to buy items and strategize how to use them during the round. Secrets will still be of great importance (no guns) but an extra flash or smoke can help counter a CT that buys their own buff as long as it is planned and thought out, such as rushing awp secret and buying a smoke ahead of time to cover themselves. It'll be a serious debuff to the jihad but will bring in other options of strategic playstyles excluding the jihad. I think trading the excessive jihad buying and lack of use for a more useful system that still allows Ts who want to buy the jihad to buy the jihad while giving more options to other Ts will be interesting.
  14. This is definitely a very work-intensive change and I like the suggestion of bringing back gangs, which can replace our current super competitive leaderboard. Instead of having an entirely different credit system, why not just remove kill rewards and round win rewards? We can have a system that uses the money in-game to buy items, and gangs can be implemented in this system. For suggestions, if you kill a ct you get $2000,(if we get advanced enough possibly having gang income rewards can be a thing) for every new weapon you pick up you get $1000, etc. Then we can add to the jihad buy menu options such as buying a flash or smoke for $5000, a small healthboost or armor for $7500, or maybe some wack things like bump mines. If you're talking about adding gangs having team benefits for income could appeal to groups of players on JB that just can't solo rebel like the sweats on top 10. I'm suggesting if a T buy menu should be added we could just build off the current jihad plugin as it uses money as currency.

  16. Depending on how it goes, it could be 2 or 3 jihads. More than a quarter of the time a jihad fails to activate, usually I only see jihads being activated once every three rounds, and considering the skill level of the players using the jihads I can say the chances of a jihad kill per round is around 10%. The jihad is very underused and underpowered in certain situations (good cts, not knowing how to use it, etc) and it leads me to believe there is a window where we can buff it to the point of not being overpowered, but actually being a potential round determiner in everyone's hands. CTs being at a disadvantage usually leads to more people actually joining CT, as given the challenge they can control the prison and carry their team. If you want to use your point of causing a huge rebellion in a matter of seconds repeatedly, you should just suggest to remove all the electric maps.

  20. Lately on JB I haven't seen the jihad used as much as I have previously seen and the hype to suicide bomb the guards has been lost a bit. I think an event where we buff the jihads for possibly a week (or at least 3 days) could work. Obviously this isn't really an "event" event but sort of a gameplay change suggestion that can be put on the server to bring back the glorious jihad. Looking at the jihad plugin (if the one we have on the server is similar) there are many ways to edit how it works, so I'm just throwing out some things to change for said event: Lowering the cost to $7500 Having a max of 2-3 jihads per round (more availability) Increasing the range of the jihad explosion to possibly 1.5x - 2x what it is right now Increasing the damage (to get more kills) This would be a fun thing to add for a bit on the JB server to spice up the stale gameplay and it would give a very intense fear of the jihad to the guards. Obviously an SM is gonna have to change the plugin values but we can just force @Chad

  22. I think the main problem on the map was that CTs had no idea what to do on it, so it usually got rtved or never got voted. This map has some promising features for JB but it really depends on if the regs like it or not.
