You’re not wrong, I didn’t put it in the op because I wanted it to be about why switching to a KZ server would be good. I’m also not sure how much my ideas could do saying that I’m just an SA. I’m on phone I’ll put the ideas down later.

KZ server is what helps people to get better in the actual competitive game. It’s only their movement, but it’s something. That’s why Retakes and 1v1 do so well because people come there to get better at the game. I mean SurfDM was fun imo, but either it needs major revamping (which I got a few ideas of my own) or just moved to another server. I play on other KZ servers to help better my movement and many others do that as well.

Auto, a wise man by the name of Casual told me that you had gotten significantly better. I knew that was fucking bullshit

On top of that, I normally cover my nose and mouth and make sure no air can travel to me for about 5 minutes. Normally works, but sometimes doesn’t.

I'm not sure if this is a server that could do well. An AWP server just another idea in the basket for a server along with the many other ideas that have been suggested. It just seems like it wouldn't be a viable server. Also, somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but, there are MG maps that are dedicated just for AWPs. I also believe that this idea would be last in the line for all the other server ideas for SG.

My main point in that post is the part that I bolded. Maybe the racist I shouldn't have mentioned because it's not a main problem of switching but I'll mention some other things now. Majority of people will leave the main discord to go into their own discord and that will be the fall of the discord. In months time, the discord will slowly lose people that will eventually be dead. Teamspeak is the only way we can maintain a consistent wave of players coming online. Teamspeak has better voice quality and has better perks than discord besides the text channels. I've been in so many discords with thousands of people and the most people you will find on at a time is 6 people and 4 of them are deafened. And the last part which I mentioned in my main post, why be in a discord where I'm restricted where I can just go to my own with all of my friends?

I read your posts on this thread and I'm just trying to figure out why you have to be this petty and argue. We both agree that the community probably doesn't really want to move toward discord because everyone chooses teamspeak and it shouldn't be forced upon us and we should just have the choice. Maybe our reasoning is different, you think we shouldn't move because the community doesn't want to (which I believe the same just didn't mention it). I don't know why you have to bash on me for it by calling my argument garbage when we literally want the same goal.

If you want to take my words out of context, go for it, but that's not exactly what I meant. I'm just saying what I will believe will happen. It's not my ability to do those things, it's other people’s abilities. With racism, it's not derogatory racism, where somebody is literally calling another person the hard r or other names, it's casual. You will quickly realize that a lot of people in this community use the word in a casual way. And avoiding people, I said I (and other people too) only make private channels to avoid trolls. My apologies that I don't enjoy people joining my channel saying "penis" or "I fucked your mom" over and over again. And if I wanted to leave and go make a private channel, oh wait, I can't so now I'm in a corner where A, I'm just gonna leave and get off or B, tell everyone in the channel to go somewhere else.

I'm gonna add my 2 cents here. The only advantage I can possibly think of switching to discord is the text channels and that's it. The text channels in discord are extremely nice. They provide many options, you don't have to be in a certain voice channel to talk about things (unlike teamspeak) and you can upload images or videos quick and easy. No complaints. But, I think forcing a switch (now, I don't know what path you guys want to take it but forcing it would be a bad idea) would be horrible. Now, you guys restricted us on the server. I'm not one for saying that racism is funny and the only thing that is funny, because it isn't, but you quickly realize that many of the jokes and the way people socialize here involve some sort of racism. Whether it just be a picture of a funny thing and the caption is the n word, it is brought up quite a lot. We can't even say it in the voice channels. To be honest, I'm not quite sure how you will guys even enforce this, because, in private channels (mine or other peoples) I can sure as hell tell that no-no words will be said. Another point is that no private channels. Now, I never like to go in to private channels because I am open to talking to new people. In the end, I am a friendly guy looking to just have fun but me (and other people alike) have problems with certain people here and would rather not speak to them. I really don't, with anybody, but many people here do and would much rather be in a private channel so they could avoid that person. Also, wouldn't trolling be upped a lot? What's stopping me from joining channels and purposely saying dumb things with no CAs in the channel and everybody in there has to listen? Also whats stopping those people from leaving and going to their own discord? Now, I think if we were to make this switch, this will be what will make you guys realize it was a bad idea. People will just leave your discord and go to their own if they encounter problems. I mean, like I said, I have no problem talking to new people, but I can just easily go to my own discord with all of my friends if I'm having problems from other people or because I can't say a simple joke or send a meme. No private channels, restrictions on certain language, I would much rather go into my discord where I can say and do whatever the fuck I want and have a better time there. The SG discord would probably become dead because everybody will leave. Right now, the community has the option between discord and teamspeak, and most of the community is at teamspeak for a reason.

I've played ESEA and Faceit and I can safely say I see a ton of more baiters/people playing for themselves on ESEA and I believe it's because of this system. Granted, it only counts to the rounds that a team wins but if I were to die immediately and deal 0 damage on the rounds that we win because I was the one entry fragging because my team didn't want to because they want to plant or trade me for kills, I'm not getting any RWS. Also, I can still win the round by baiting my teammates if I'm that good. Yeah, it might be a little tougher, but my RWS would be booming if I plant AND kill 4 people with the help from the death of my teammates. This will all trace back to people just playing for themselves. And you might say that it won't happen because you are right in some aspects, but I've experienced playing ESEA (I'm sure you have at least once) and I can safely say that there are a ton of baiters on there, more than faceit and competitive, because there's no reward for it.

I'm not sure about this one man. ESEA has this system (I assume you got some inspiration from there too) and it causes a lot of people to just play for themselves. A lot of people would start baiting so they can capitalize on kills and not die as much. The fun aspect of scrim would be lost, maybe a lot or maybe not even at all, but I think it would get hit.
