I think Gentoo had an extremely similar idea to this and I don’t remember what happened but most people agreed that it was a pretty good idea. We would advertise said sever (any SG server) on the forums and there would be credit multipliers just for playing in there. I don’t know what it would take to make this happen, but it’s a pretty great idea and I believe it could work. I’m not sure about the event though, it could work if planned and thought out well but it doesn’t seem very likely.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Wasn't contradicting myself, what I was saying by that is that I meant if you're trying to give an order early in the round, most of the T's aren't rebelling (if any) and still most of the time the Ts rebelling won't say something into the mic to make sure nobody can understand you. The warning shot doesn't matter at all, the whole point is to get the order across to everybody on the server and to make sure they can hear it without forcing it upon anybody. Like I said in previous post though, I would stray away from giving too much power over the Ts as a CT because that's always been the unique thing about our server and if we start moving in the other direction one day, we could lose a lot of our player base.

I agree with idealist here, if wardens need to give an order they can just use the existing all ts off mic which is actually extremely effective because the only people that use their mics are the ones rebelling. CTs also tend to conflict each other’s orders a ton so the warden definitely should be able to mute the CTs. Also, taking away this much freedom from the players is extremely dangerous in a role play game mode and I think we can’t go crazy with the warden rules.

it’s really not that hard to really go undercover. If admins really wanted to, we can sell our names, undisplay our medals and private our profiles but odds are we’re gonna have to change our names immediately after.

Yeah I can never seen this being added because the amount of abuse going on would be insane. And you getting the whole chat order rule created was because you were skirting around the rules. You were giving chat orders at the same time as an order given over mic and I'm not sure if this was intentional (it did seem pretty intentional) because you would also give the orders during hectic situations to cause headaches for everybody. The current rule in place completely overrides all chat order problems and I don't think this should ever be added.

To sum this one up, the Events Team has an event planned for this I believe on the 20th or the 21st as a goodbye to the SCP server. Not sure when we actually announce it to the public, but we do have plans and they will be announced ASAP. Thank you for the suggestion!
