I've definitely experienced what you're mentioning, but I have a few good ways of not letting it get too out of hand. If I want to keep a post for the near future, I just keep the tab open or pin the tab. If I want to keep a thread for the long haul what I've done in the past is create a document or notepad and put the links there. I've never actually used what @Trazz mentioned but it seems like a good workaround and something I'll take a crack at.

I understand the T ranks topic should be its own thread, but I thought I might aswell leave some context of previous discussions. @fantastic summed up the idea of T-Ranks pretty well, there's no reason to add another points system: I wouldn't be opposed for the Top (Whatever # [10,20]) gangs being able to flex either their rank or status on the leaderboards in chat. Moreover, the discussion on Gang/CT-Rank related cosmetics was discussed during our last community meeting. These were the notes specifically on rewards for gangs and CT-Ranks: Essentially, what I believe would be most achievable would be custom models, auras, trails, credits, and tags in chat. I would love to hear our managers' opinions

As far as I know, the whole point of players not having to slay is because we have admins to kick/slay players. However, in those scenarios where we don't have an admin online and the person is consistently killing 3+ people without proper justification you should type !calladmin in chat and report them. If you feel inclined to do so, the better route is to create a player complaint. Make sure to follow the player complaint procedure and guidlines, and provide sufficient proof (A recording, VOD, demo, etc.).

Hey @nesquik just wondering when COTM November/December will be here? The last update was over four weeks ago, and the due date for submissions was a little over three weeks ago. You could have even gotten terminal cancer, i'd still make this post. My point is I'd (and I think some other submitters would) appreciate an update. @roux Time management. We just had a discussion on teamspeak about how I've asked you in the past and was met with disrespect and no answer. There's no reason to give me attitude because I asked for an update on your project.

The "!o" idea has been bounced around many months across different managers, and the general consensus is that it would be abused way too much and that it's not happening. A CT-Quiz is another one of those ideas, something the management (AFAIK) does not want to do. It's too extra and makes CT-side way too serious than it already needs to be (IMO). Changing the time by 0:40 seconds is completely arbitrary and doesn't help during an early-stage discussion. When there's mass confusion like this, one of four things should and do happen; 1. An admin mutes everyone except for one person to give an order, or they give an order themselves, 2. The two ct's conflicting with each other agree on one order, 3. One of the two conflicting CT's steps down and shuts up, 4. Someone screams "SHUT THE FUCK UP" loud enough, and someone is able to give an order. Most CT's understand there's confusion going on and don't warning shot unless the T is blatantly rebelling or attempting to harm. The admin option and screaming option are the most common, but those others still happen. This is exactly what management (AFAIK) does not want.

So everyone who wants to practice their AK spray just doesn't connect for one hour, no. Go on Retakes and use pistols only. Yeah getting destroyed by AK's sucks, but if you're on an ECO round and the enemy team isn't (in MM) you have to learn how to counter a rifle and armor while having a pistol.

The situation does happen a fair bit, where the T doesn’t know where the CT is or the CT knifes the t instantly which is somewhat unfair. No scope battle already has a countdown. The situation for S4S is kind of specific, and while I’ve seen it happen from time to time I admit it does suck. If the countdown isn’t hard to implement, I wouldn’t mind it.

So this: Even if you think someone can be trusted, they can still go ahead and abuse things. Why not just stick with what we already have, players making admin applications to be a "trusted regular with permissions".

Are you suggesting allowing VIP's to be able to initiate a votekick, or enable VIP's (or trusted regulars) to kick. Either or, we have admins (Trusted regulars) to do that job. The process of finding out if a VIP is abusing their permission would be as lengthy as filing a player complaint, meaning multiple people would be kicked out of the server before the VIP's permissions are revoked. It's easier to just keep with what we have, and let players make player complaints.
