Why do you have to go nuclear on things for months at a time in order to get good grades. Make a schedule. Redefine to yourself why you're trying your ass off at school besides not wanting ur parents to beat your ass or whatever the fk. If your impulse control and reward center is really that fucked that you can't sit still for an hour or two after some legitimate effort maybe a psychiatrist or doctor. People come and go from here like they're going to be so busy with whatever the fuck then they realize after a few hours of doing something challenging it's fitting to reward yourself with something you enjoy. If it's not SG it'll be something else. Just my 2 cents.

Had to post this to meme lol. This and few other similar changes as mentioned could make sg more friendly and maybe marketable if that is the goal. Banning words vs. Harassment itself and dealing with people skirting or just being fucking psychopaths reporting one another for every little thing is probably the most annoying thing about or behind these rules. Personally I have never really cared about the word, I know that a lot of people definitely wouldn't appreciate being called it and would probably expect there to be a rule against it. Can't just pretend like those people do not exist. People don't like change, I was against Discord when it was proposed and now it's a huge platform that would be dumb not to have. This will likely be fine, albeit being potentially annoying as the word list gets longer and people create more paper to push.

You're going to have to be way more specific about what "breaking the bank is", provide a list of what you have, what you're looking to do with your new build. I get that you're asking for help cause you don't know, but that's the information anyone would need if they're looking to help you in any real way. Like Gentoo, or the other guys have said it's not clear a CPU or Mobo is what you need. Unfortunately getting parts right now is still on the difficult side, your best bet might be to weather the storm a bit longer, save, and maybe at that point you'll set yourself up with an entire system that you can be happy with for many many years instead of scrapping parts together. The newer stuff is really great, I'm not entirely sure whether this supply issue is prolonged- it seems like this really might last through the rest of 2021 and well into 2022. It's hard to see technology as deflationary when you have bots scalping products from people that could actually be using them.

I cannot imagine a political thread without a Estonian, Lithuanian, Norwegian, and several Canadians taking a fat shit on the US once or twice a month lmao. On the real you've done a lot of great work here and I'm sure you have a helluva lot of good memories. It's amazing what you can accomplish if you take the time for it and set yourself reasonable expectations. Not targeted, there's been more than a couple just wanted to ask and see what was going on. No drama here.

In the past, this wasn't how it worked hence the post- similar big red letters were involved and harsh punishments were handed out to people. I don't have anything against people having an opportunity to defend themselves just think maybe wording could be adjusted cause as it's currently stated in large red letters I think it could discourage people to post. This is assuming what you guys are saying is true.

Has this rule been changed elsewhere on the forums because it's not been followed many times over the past 2 months I've been back and no ones said much about it. Are the people who the complaint is being made on allowed to post on it, or is it just staff? If so, shouldn't permissions for regulars and such be restricted?

I think it's pretty ridiculous to see people say that calling someone a T vs. calling someone KOS isn't confusing or interchangeable. This should be common sense, and the fact that it isn't means at some point someone set some precedent that is just wrong lol. When I played if you called someone a T that meant you were calling KOS on them, I don't know why any of you would fight to have this confusing wording be allowed whatsoever at all lol. TTT is an EXTREMELY straightforward gamemode there is no reason to confuse new players and then slay them because you want to mess around with your friends, frankly when you're messing around with your friends you're still breaking the rules and causing enough confusion to ruin the purpose of the gamemode. The few times I've gotten on TTT I literally logged off shortly after because admins and their friends were being extremely obnoxious with this type of shit.
