I see where you guys are coming from, but I blame that on the manager and their incompetence to not look further into the issue. This wouldn’t stop bad managers from being bad, but it might take away useful statistics that any manager could use to get a general idea on where a map stands.

I mean, I don’t really see the problem with having them. This seems more like a nitpicking type of thread/request as having these does no harm. I’ve never been a manager and you have but I assume (given enough people vote) it can possibly give you a general idea of where the community stands without each person having to take the time of writing out a post.

Guys... it’s not the end of the world. The kid had chat colors for a month, so what? This doesn’t need to turn into some crazy moral debate. I haven’t been around for that long, but I remember reading an old announcement about something Liam Brown did to make subscribers perk activate automatically. Not sure if you bought your sub before then, but maybe that could have caused this? If not then I have no idea but it’s likely you might not be the only one.

I wouldn't necessarily consider any secrets on that to be complex. The most complicated secret I can remember involved shooting 1 button, jumping into a wall, and walking through two doors. Once you memorize like two patterns you practically know all the secrets on the map. In fact, one pattern activates two secrets at once.

I've played the map - there isn't a button that activates a warday. The only button in the house, if you're using the same version I've played on, just activates some weeb secret.

Harrassment/disrespect towards any group of people is not allowed, anti-Semitic comments included. If you're making offensive jokes and disrespecting another member of the community action can be taken. If you feel an admin is not doing their job and letting stuff like this slide you can always make an admin complaint here

Keeping things RELEVANT to the thread, I haven’t used these models but this might take a bit of work to do, especially since models are switched/added occasionally. I haven’t had much of a problem with any of the other player models because they are only slightly off. If you think the model is significantly unfair you could request for the AO of the respective server to remove it (happened with the TTT banana model rip).

Abstain has its purpose, people just use it for the wrong reasons. I utilize abstain for the following reasons: -There are multiple factors about the applicant that make me feel unsure which way to vote, but I still want to provide useful feedback -I haven't played with the person recently, and it would feel unfair to support/reapply the applicant, but I've interacted with them in the past and still have useful insight to provide -I want to give suggestions based off what has been said in other replies (along with my limited experiences with them) I agree, the whole "I really don't know who you are... abstain" comments are pointless. What are they supposed to take away from that - they should play more when you're online? If your post doesn't provide useful feedback to the applicant, then don't post. You're not being helpful and all you're doing is inflating your post count. This doesn't really seem like that big of an issue to me because a) people aren't grinding to 100 posts anymore and b) BDs don't take into consideration pointless comments. However, if we want to stop pointless reps a good change would be to edit this thread. I think the general consensus here is that a person posting without knowing the applicant is pointless. However, the FAQ still states to use an abstain if you don't know the applicant. I would suggest we just change it to "If you don't know the applicant, do not post." Applications would get less cluttered, people would stop inflating their post counts, and applicants would only get feedback that is useful. In the end, a lot of this just has to do with the fact people take the wrong approach when it comes to using abstain. I don't think we need to rework the system entirely, just show people what abstain should be used for.

I think this was meant to be a removal suggestion I wasn’t that much of a fan of the map when it was suggested and I think it is facing the problems I originally had in mind. It’s too chaotic and too open and I’m not a fan. Of course, this is just my preference and there might be people who like this.

I actually would like to see this brought back. A lot of the times people don't have the evidence to make a proper admin complaint. This would be a good way to make the BDs/IAs aware of a potential badmin so they can keep an eye on the person.
