As others have said, pay attention. It's going to be very tempting to just go on your phone or play games with the lecture in the background, I did that at the end of last year and it sucked because I had to re-learn all of my material on my own. Put your phone away during lessons and record the lessons if your teachers aren't, so you can re-visit them. Ask questions, because getting extra help probably is out of the question.

The Retakes server is seen as much more of a competitive server than a fun one. People go on Retakes to warm up, and to simulate a competitive matchmaking experience, usually not to horse around and have fun (although there are players that like doing that kind of stuff). This is why you see that the goal of our Retakes server is to keep the experience of the players as similar as possible to an actual Retake scenario in a competitive match. An event, especially a weeklong event, that includes things that deviate more from a matchmaking-like experience probably wouldn't perform well. Some regulars, as well as newer players who join to play Retakes during this event will leave, and if the event lasts a week, someone who is not a member of the community probably won't come back. Another issue is that the maximum amount of players in the server is 9, so if there were an event people would most likely have to wait to participate. All in all, events for servers like Retakes servers are incredibly limited due specifically to the fact that with a server like this, you're trying to give the players the feel of an actual matchmaking experience.

Events should be structured so that you don't need a prize to draw people in. Yes, it would be nice if the winner was able to receive a prize such as the forum award (if it still exists) or credits or whatever, but it shouldn't be necessary to make people attend the event. That being said, another kahoot event sounds fun.

10 players, 1 imposter. Speed 2.5x. Crewmate max vision, imposter 0.25x vision. Kill distance short, Kill cooldown 10 seconds. No sabotaging, except for doors (that means no comms, reactor, O2, or lights). Imposter has to announce themselves, no reporting bodies, no emergency meetings, no venting. Imposter has to find and kill everyone, last crewmate standing wins. Best map to do this on is Polus.

Event Name: Hide and Seek Description: At the beginning of each round, Ts are given time to hide around the map. The CTs are released from armory after x amount of time (maybe 30 seconds) and have to hunt down and kill all the Ts to win. Possibly have checkpoints in the middle of the map where Ts can pick up utility and weaponry (which would give them an advantage but leave them with less time to hide). Length: 1 hour

Event Name: JB Couples Competition Description: people choose a partner to marry and compete to esrn the most amount of points. I could only see this happening on T side though, either with guard kills or time spent alive in the rounds. Length: could be a weekend-long event ir a week-long event. I was going to try and do something like this while I was still on the events team, but unfortunately life took it's toll. Although I don't play anymore, I'm sure it'd be a fun event.

I'd like to take this moment to address an issue here that I find, surprisingly, no one has mentioned before. Please take the time to read this before casting a vote, because I have reasons as to why Hawks should not move on. 1. Hawks Hates Turtles. Not only this, but he goes so far as to take that plastic milk bag and PUT IT IN ANOTHER PLASTIC CONTAINER. So much for the environment, eh? 3. Hawks Goes Out of His Way to Buy Plastic Bags for the Sole Purpose of Burning Them Enough said. 4. Hawks Yells at Dogs Seriously man, who yells at dogs? Not cool bro. 5. Hawks Has Been at the Top of SEVERAL Pyramid Schemes and is Also the Instructor of Those Annoying Telemarketers He has defrauded millions of out their hard earned money for his own sick amusement. So does this mean that admins are now able to use these "cooldown bans" of twelve hours or less in replacement to a warning, whether that would have been a kick or a verbal warning (over admin chat or through PMs)? For example, if someone is being an excessive troll, or is being excessively toxic, will admins have the ability to ban these people without a warning (given it is a cooldown ban), or will they still be required to warn the offender before issuing a ban?
