1. I look forward to it
2. Fixing server tickrates

Also this is a thing in MG and TTT : (Cl_cmdrate 102 and Cl_updaterate 102) Rates did change as I mentioned above, but the cmdrate and updaterate remained the same, and they were what determine if a server is '128 tick'. The 102 settings are from CSS and were maybe copy pasted from old files? 102 was to determine 100 tick servers back the if anyone remembers, but having 102 tick now just makes for some weird lag and hits not connecting when you think they should. Could also be the thing causing the knifing issue that was mentioned on MG (I did look though and MG has the proper rate settings allowing you to cap at 786432) PB has 64 tick settings, which I assume is correct since it isn't listed as a 128 tick server or whatever, but if that is the intention then someone should look at that too. @Wawa @Gator @Im Sad @Karma
3. Bring back BuildRP
4. So looking at a lot of the servers, most of them (including PB,TTT, and Scrim...didn't check ZE) have wonky rate settings that are super outdated. Back in 2016 steam/CSGO changed network settings to allow for 'higher game traffic to client' : Ignore what it says about 'high surge rate', its literally irrelevant unless you have the shittiest of internet, plus you can just leave it at the default 196608 and never have a problem. PB and TTT are both still at 128000 as max rate allowed (based on pre-2016 '128k') and scrim is at 80k? The Deathmatch server has the proper settings for anyone who wants to look, allows you to have the preset default (196608 ) all the way up to the max (786432). Source : https://www.vsgaming.co.za/discover/how-set-your-new-csgo-rates MM servers use the same rate settings, and it gives a noticeable difference compare to the SG servers. I don't know nor can I find anything saying this would cause any sort of significant extra load on the servers, and I believe it is almost all based around how much information the individual 'client' is receiving. I also joined multiple 1v1 servers and a few other misc ones and they all had the same settings, so at least for like the scrim server this should be fixed. Forgive me if I'm missing something, been a while since I looked at this side of server stuff.
5. To be fair when you get as many admins together as gumline listed, I'm sure there was a steady flow of admin commands being used. While that's not a "toxic environment" and in no way admin abuse, I can understand the annoyance. Perhaps that is his problem...but by the same virtue if there were no admins, rules definitely wouldn't be enforced. Simple answer is get some big-dick admins so there is no question of who is bigger. ^_^
6. Can we get a poll up to vote on this suggestion? ;) But really....All Ts and Dominic are right that there have been bad decisions made based on vote, especially when an AO...or I guess managers now weren't as involved as they should be with the server population. That being said, Keiran has a good point that if someone is a poor manager they'll make poor decisions even if this was removed. I'd tend to agree with that line of reasoning a lot more, because if someone doesn't know how to track population based on maps or track overall popular vs non-popular maps, then without a forum vote they simply wouldn't have anything to go on.
7. Bumping a thread 8 hours after you make it, am I seeing that right? Anyways, two rules relevant to this conversation (and maybe more I'm not including) : '• CTs are allowed to camp but cannot delay the round.' '• CTs must be actively enforcing orders or assisting their team. (subject to admin discretion)' My first response to seeing a thread like this is : Be a better T, or a better team of Ts...but I understand this isn't always easy. I think on some maps its easier than others, and it also depends on how the CTs acted before it ended up being one CT alive. If the CTs did a good job at clearing out the guns, and the CT is now camping armory or some other dumb corner of the map...it becomes increasingly hard to be the one hunting them down. That being said, obviously like a lot of the stuff you said is technically against the 2nd rule, which is that they must be actively enforcing orders, but you would need an admin there to properly enforce that. Unfortunately in that situation if an admin isn't around you're gonna have a lot of trouble dealing with that, and also filing a complaint would be kind of silly as its a minor infraction at best. I could write a lot more on the matter, but I'm curious what other people think.
8. You really think anyone is gonna take the time to go through this...wonderful...off topic thread?
9. You guys are cute together ;)

13. Yeah I generally agree with all this. The only arguments I hear for the map is that its unique and shit, which if you're talking about the cells or the magic duelies, is true. The rest of the map is pretty basic, with a generally poor layout for actually playing JB the way it is usually played, which is for the CTs to order the Ts around and the Ts to try and rebel. There is a big open floor plan with catwalks everywhere, and a lot of dead end rooms to boot with some games that I rarely actually see get played. The whole map is made of very large square areas all painted in the ugliest fucking purple color (yeah I know its from a video game) I've ever seen, the only decent looking room being the climb area. I honestly don't even stay in the server when this is getting played, sorry but after 10 rounds of either 'face the back of your cell and freeze' and then after wasting over a minute with that you get sent to one room till the round ends OR 'freeday no catwalks', it gets fucking old. I've yet to see people have much of a chance to get to most of the secrets you guys are talking about. Also, whenever the freedays get called there is always at least 1 CT if not 2-3 who camp hard in the armory, and if you're even across the cell block (which is ridiculously over sized), there is no way you can fight someone with a scope in armory without a scope of your own. Sure you can say like the reason I've had a bad time there is because of shitty CTs or lack of admins, basically the game mode not being played as intended, but having 14 year old CTs trying to call warden and a lack of admins has been the epitome of my JB experience lately.
14. @Liam Brown You da best!

You're absolutely right, and a lot of the good maps have names that don't really catch your eye. I still find myself scratching my head at some of the names trying to remember if its good or not. Another thing is if it pops up in the middle of the round I just hit one randomly on accident or just to get it off my screen. I also see people crowd voting, which will always happen unfortunately.
16. ttt_thetops request

Yeah really, any kind of variety would be appreciated. Though I feel there are a lot of good maps on the server people just don't vote for them. Then people rtv off maps they don't know
17. Gaming Music

Look up like 'Epic Music' or 'Fantasy Instrumental' on YouTube, you'll come across a whole shit ton of playlists made by a variety of people. A good example of one : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxJbaKtgK0Y. They are almost always strictly instrumental, some will have like 'strong female vocals' tagged or whatever. Its usually pretty powerful music, the kind of stuff you'd hear in video games, fantasy movies, epic fight scenes, and so on. I find they are somewhat motivational (if that makes sense) when I'm playing any sort of competitive game, and because they're all instrumental they are less distracting and just act as really good background noise.
18. Would be cool to practice deagles
19. Could just do a pull down menu in that section of the form, render options are pretty limited yeah?

21. See but you have a good credit score, what generates your credit? Because anyone who says 'you need a credit card(s)' is basing it on needing to build credit to buy things like a car or house. Obviously you're supplementing your credit in a different manor.
