None of them at all? Whatsoever? You cannot make that decision?

So I just want to make sure- if the movie showed a black person and the parent of a child said they didn't want their children exposed to black people, you would say that they are allowed the right to hold that moral and prevent their children from watching black people in a movie?

Edit: Just to affirm the reason I'm replacing gay people with black people is because I think you're a homophobe and have no respect for gay people. I'm just wanting to replace it with a racial minority so I can call you a racist, too.

I respect the rights of Parents/Guardians to moderate content for their children within the confines of the law.

ITT: Idiots reveal they are bigoted and homophobic over a scene in a fucking Disney movie.

Me personally? Of course not! But when the general collective questions why you hold your morals and call you and those who hold similar "morals" out... you should turn to some introspection and really wonder how moral your views are. What will hiding children from this effectively do? Delay the inevitable? They'll see that shit in school, on the streets, or in porn eventually. If you'd screen something like this from your hypothetical children, it really shows how much of a pea-brain you are.

Seethe harder.

Your kids are going to grow up and have sex one day so why keep them waiting, what are you gonna delay the inevitable?

I'll admit to being a but facetious with most of my posts but this line of thinking is terrible. Because something is prevalent or normalized is no reason to assume that you can't seek to shelter your children or hope for something better. Obviously that doesn't necessarily apply to this particular situation but it's still a bad way to go about rationalizing things in general.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that almost no one is watching this movie and is actually "disgusted" by an on-screen same-sex kiss. It's more about where people, especially parents, are comfortable drawing the line for how much exposure to LGBT content is okay for children. Just about everyone is happy to have same-sex relationships represented in media and to raise their children to tolerant and accepting of other people's differences. The issue is that relationship diversity is almost universally hamfisted into every form of media to the point of it feeling inauthentic (and not really reflective of the community) while simultaneously over-representing minority groups. I can see where some parents believe awareness transitions into propaganda.

Me personally? Despite being right-leaning, I believe that same-sex relationships can be explained just as easily to children as heteronormative ones, and whatever was shown in this movie is a big nothingburger. As long as everything is held to the same standards, of course. I don't want to be called a bigot in 10 years for not supporting a gay anal sex scene in a Pixar movie.

"When my kids grow up, I'm gonna go let them get molestered by the local sex offender because THEY WILL BE EXPOSED TO IT ANYWAYS. DUH."

That's how stupid you sound saying some shit like letting homosexual relationships on movies. Yeah, them kids probably will be exposed to that stuff. But there comes a time and place and specific way that this should happen. That's why im not gonna let them be molestered until they are 30, that way the only way they can respond to this sort of thing is with ignorance and disgust that I have instilled in them to have by locking them in a basement with nothing but pictures of Neil Patrick Harris and Jodie Foster.

I went to look at the scene everyone has their panties in a twist over and, THATS IT? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDING ME THATS FUCKING NOTHING. THESE MOTHER FUCKERS ARE MAKING IT SEEM LIKE THEY HAD GAY SEX ON CAMERA. It was literally just a little peck on the lips welcoming her girlfriend home, there have been way longer and more romantic kisses with straight couples in movies aimed at kids. I dont think anyones kids will be affected much after seeing this in the movie.
