Did you really make this in paint? The black border gives it away

4. bump Noticed this wasn't marked as reviewing, so I assume there's room for more people to share their opinions on this.
5. https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-invyr-holy-panda-mechanical-switches Looks in stock to me Anyways, I forget to mention lubing your switches can make a HUGE difference on not only feel, but also noise. It's very tedious to do properly, but supposedly worth the effort. Holys and some other switches come pre-lubed, but some people report that the lubing is shit out of the box. Also, these are hella expensive but they're nice looking keyboards to drool over https://rama.works/ I bought their PBT Heavy Industry SEQ2 caps in June and I'm still waiting on them
6. Holy Panda Cherry Black Zilents Kailh Choc Pale Blue Gateron Green ngl chief, I'm a tactile click kind of guy, but any of these would be decent options, especially the holy pandas. Depending on your keyboard, look into soldering and installing a foam/acoustic foam dampener. I hate the feel of o-rings but you might want to try them too.
7. So uhhh, you gon appeal?

8. Remove !gloves so I can flex my $200 virtual items again
9. I don't need a last meal, just give me some time with those two snacks behind you, warden
10. Nice quote. As it says in the FAQ, you can, but must be 100% certain. It's not as concrete as actually seeing someone shoot someone or run over an unID so it could use some clarification, though. You can't hear gunshots hitting someone apart from headshots, so it's a little unclear.
11. TTT Dna rework

Is that really all there is to it? It seems that DNA just refuses to show from bodies sometimes even when the killer is still roaming around, no matter how long you wait. Could just be me. It was just a shot in the dark idea, but if the DNA were to ping rather quickly, it would force Ts to drop their weapon nearly every kill to avoid DNA, and would nerf using the same A1s and AWP the whole round. It would be a far cry from how DNA is traditionally used, but it's just a thought. DNA could already use a buff as is, just because of how shit most players seem to be at using it effectively. Honestly just needs a slightly more frequent ping rate. I can't count the number of times I've died to DNA this summer on one hand.
12. TTT Dna rework

This sounds like a decent idea, but I'm not sure how difficult it would be to implement. DNA is honestly hit or miss sometimes, and I wonder if @Im Sad has any clues as to why it's so spotty. An idea I had some time ago was to link DNA to the Ts gun, encouraging them to switch guns often to ditch DNA and discouraging using the same A1s all round.
13. Do you think this is a possible reason for some of the congested moderation we've seen in the current CA rank? 11 people trying to shine in a rank that has seemingly already been pushed further from the servers and closer to the forums than it previously was? Do you have any suggestions on how this could be fixed, or are you happy with the current system? To me, at least, I don't think there's anything wrong with having a role that doesn't need filled by very many people. The IA role usually has 3-4 members and they get the job done fine. It's reserved for people that can be trusted to do good work in it.
14. You can also do !md to mute dead players. Not everyone wants to follow the round, and many people enjoy having conversations with each other.
15. Hats can stay. Remove MG instead.
16. Our featured server has been ZE for a long time now and I think it's due a change. I think it would be worth changing our featured server every time we have a new raffle and adding a 1.5x raffle point multiplier for playing on our featured server. This would give players an incentive to try out new servers. While it would offer an advantage to players already playing on those featured servers, it would balance out after a few raffles.
17. While I understand you cutting the connection from regulars to CA, it doesn't make sense that you would link ATs to BDs. IA is a role that requires good judgement and interpersonal interpersonal skills and should serve as a prerequisite skill to BD considered their responsibilities function very similarly. It would make sense that any AT interested in a BD role would take on the IA role responsibilities prior to becoming BD.
18. Don't buy Korean cars, they look and feel cheap because they are cheap. They're known to be poorly designed and unsafe. The reason they get such good mileage is because the cars feel like they're made of aluminum. For you price range, you can easily afford a nice Civic or Camry that's less than 10 years old depending on where you live. Treat it well and it will treat you well. Honda's have V-TEC, usually the economy kind, so if you aren't driving like a rally driver, you should get adequate fuel efficiency from them.
19. I made a diagram in paint to help visualize this a bit better. My thinking behind organizing the traditional flow into a branch-style system, is to separate good judgement and passion about the community from server knowledge and passion about the servers in a way. From my perspective, it isn't ideal to have someone with one and not the other in the current role, but because of how wide the range of responsibilities is, it seems that this is an option that has to be taken sometimes. Separating these would lessen this issue, and open the roles up to more people. There are people in this community who have been SA for YEARS, and while I can't say for sure, it's possible that many of them have passed up on promotions or never bothered applying because they have no interest in some of the responsibilities or feel they wouldn't be able to fulfill them. They are instead replaced some who are often less knowledgeable or sometimes even less interested in the servers at all, but have great Teamspeak and Forums activity. Additionally, this would allow those who are passionate and willing to proceed into a mid-level server role, but have no interest in certain responsibilities (or the higher ups feel they aren't ready for some), to move into a role that would allow them to further help their server and use their knowledge of said server to benefit discussions and decisions. If you are not "fully ready to handle player complaints" then you are not ready to be shown the door of a server manager door As stated earlier, there is a decent chance that people who are not ready for these roles in terms of judgement are being moved into them because they are doing good server related work or a spot needs to be filled. Alternatively, there may be people suited or in these roles that just don't have the same passion for the servers that they used to, but have great interpersonal skills and judgement for the moderation side of the role. These people may be weighing in on discussions on servers they rarely play on or have no interest in at all. The main purpose behind this would be to better conform the promotion of players to these roles towards their strengths. weaknesses, and interests. It would be very reasonable for them to be able to be held simultaneously, in the same way IA/AT can be right now.
20. Recently. the CA role has been changed to focus primarily on forums side moderation, and seems less focused on the server side of things, being removed from the servers page. The role seems slightly out of place in the traditional SA-CA-AT foodchain. I think it would be useful to push CA out of this flow, making them closer to the IA role. CA could replaced by Server Managers or whatever. This would allow for people who wish to contribute to the community, including past staff and upstanding members, to apply to this role without putting in effort they don't want to on the servers to achieve SA first. It may seem weird to suggest this for a gaming community, but there are plenty of members passionate and willing to help the community that just aren't terribly interested in playing the servers or contributing to server related discussions; additionally, plenty of higher staff members spend less time on the servers already, focusing more of their time on forum issues and discussions. This would also open the door of a server manager role further to those who aren't yet fully ready to handle player complaints or don't want to put in the effort to menial tasks unrelated to their server. This role would be more focused on contributing to server specific discussions and decisions, as well as helping to run server events as done previously by CAs. I feel narrowing the tasks of CA into two separate, defined roles would be the most efficient way to allow members to contribute to the community in the ways they can/want to.
