Important to note that 90% of people haven't held most of these ranks and likely don't know what exactly they consist of, myself included. That being said, the thread is public so I'll leave my two cents anyways. One of the things in particular that I find important is the use of Team and Board. While it's cool to have everyone be part of a team, I think being more careful with the use is what we should be going for. The Board of Directors is expected to work together on making many decisions, so I think the name should stick. I don't think all of our teams really need to be teams. While people may work together occasionally, I don't necessarily think that calls for naming something a team. For instance: comparing Media Team to Events Team; I haven't been on either of these teams but I imagine that people on the media team aren't really expected to work collaboratively with each other on a single Banner, whereas people on Events Team SHOULD be conferring with each other when they plan each event.

:ooo: Just larping, but I think something like this would be real fuckin cool. Unfortunately, I feel that finding opportunities and sponsorship like this would require the approval and decisions of higher ups, limiting the team primarily to IAs and BDs if it were to seek to reach it's full potential. I'm sure that there are things that lower staff could do within the team to get SG's name out there, but I wouldn't want anyone accidentally tarnishing the reputation of our community by being too eager to find partnerships etc.

Sapphire is widely regarded as the BEST brand for AMD GPUs, particularly for their Nitro+ cards. The only difference between brands is generally the cooler design and how well the cards are binned. Given that you are primarily playing CSGO, and I assume you don't plan on overclocking, the PowerColor or any cheap radiator style design will work just fine for your needs though.

Do you have any idea how resource intensive this would be? Try leaving your PC recording for a day and let us know how much hard drive space you have. Furthermore, CAs would have to dig through all these demos and download the right one before determining if the complaint is even true.

I understand that VIPs, Subs, and Admins are able to connect to a full server through console, but this is a bit tedious. Some other servers leave a slot open which allows VIPs to connect directly and more conveniently from the server browser. If someone without a reserved slot attempts to connect, it will not allow them, and instead prints a message along the lines of "This server reserves slots for VIPs" or something to a similar effect. I believe this would make reserved slots slightly more convenient while also advertising Donator perks to the tens of people that find our servers full during peak hours. IIRC the server limit bumps up by 1 when someone with a reserved slot connects, always leaving one open for the next person, and bumping back down when the server is less full. In practice, this wouldn't change how and how many people can connect to the server. I believe Tarik's practice servers may do this if you need an example.

I really just see this as replacing a minor annoyance with another annoyance. Disallowing players from shooting before or when the round starts is splitting hairs in my book. It's sort of a rare occurrence and can be avoided by...telling players not to shoot others when the round starts and punishing them accordingly. It does prevent Ts from popping heads with an SMG the second the round starts but it's not a huge inconvenience. I'm not terribly inclined to lean either way honestly, but I don't really agree with why it was added in the first place. Seems a bit like babysitting, but I'm much happier with this than the previous plugin that prevented players from opening vents and windows.

This has been brought up a few times for TTT and JB but barely managed to get off the ground. I believe this is because this would be best accomplished using the test servers to record footage, but the staff with access are lacking the time or interest for it. I had personally pushed for it in the past, but hit a wall when staff shelved it at the time. I would recommend trying to capture your own footage on our servers and working with friends, unless any higher ups are particularly interested in getting this off the ground right now.

So you want rounds to consist of 4 Ts running around or doing LRs for 5 minutes? Nah fam. Also I believe the rule amendment was specifically made in the event that a deathgame is not functioning as intended. I wouldn't necessarily be against increasing round times, but the deathgame time should remain at 2:30.

We already have !kills (I think? Maybe it's !stats) in place which tracks your long term total kills of each role, and ranks you against other players on a leaderboard. I really don't see the need for another command to be implemented unless people are super passionate against RDMs counting against your rank.
