  1. 1v1 Event

This is how it’s going to work. I will win. Don’t show up. Thank you.
  2. I feel like I should also just state that the suggestions were merely suggestions to the problems I brought up, mostly meant to just provoke others to give their spin off of my proposal. My main idea here though are two things; 1. The public and most importantly the poster, should be aware a post of theirs was deleted, why it was deleted, and by who it was deleted by and 2. The poster who’s post was deleted should be able to refute the reasoning behind their post being deleted. I’ve tried going to a couple of higher ups and CAs but I was met with them saying they can’t “leak” anything because they were told it’s been causing drama and targeted hatred. Which is exactly why I think the CA+ ability to see who deleted the post and why should be left open to the public. Why? For similar reasons as to why Admin Complaints are public, transparency. I also believe it would act as a sort of Checks and Balances between the forum mods and the public. I heavily discard the entire “it was cause more drama then solving it” because as we’ve seen in the past, with Admin Complaints, that’s just assuming the worst out of a situation. I think keeping it private causes more drama because then you have the public just guessing who’s deleting post through their interpretations of how the CAs+ act. I’m also not saying no drama would happen, because at the end of the day people will always look for someone to hate or blame for their issues, but I think it’s overall better for everyone to see who deleted the post. The “report a deletion” is very silly and I wasn’t actually looking for that specifically to be implemented, especially since “new forums soon.” Again, it was meant to just stir some more thinking of a process to allow the poster to possibly reinstate their post. Thinking about it more though, I think it’s be best to be able to submit a thread for their deleted post, like a player complaint but instead it’s a complaint on their post. For something like this I think it’d be neat to keep that thread for the person who submitted the form and CA+ since it’s not serious enough for having the public see and most importantly, the person who deleted the post might not be the person who authorized the deletion of the post. It would also allow for some more people to pitch in their opinion. I also believe that this would help “solve” the whole “over moderation” on the forums, since it allows higher ups to see how the public may feel on certain issues and where the higher ups stand on certain issues.
  3. I feel like I should preface this by saying that this thread is in no way meant to cause some havoc, hatred, or stir up some unnecessary drama and I fully condemn anyone's attempt to make this something bigger than it is or could be. Dope. I've had this idea floating around my head for a while now and since I've devolved into a Regular I'm able to actually be in the position where I can fully understand how it be down here. I'm also just going to be blunt and say that I am pretty much indirectly referencing this thread; https://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=93861. Anyway, onto the actual topic of the thread... I believe that when Post are deleted the public, but most importantly the poster, should have some knowledge of who deleted the post and why and those who's post are deleted and posters should be even able to argue as to the necessity of having their post deleted. Right now, there isn't really a direct way to go about this, there have been times in the past where users resort to making a thread which then typically doesn't end up good and makes the situation worse than it actually was. I think that when a post is deleted, at most, the poster should be notified by the person who deleted it as to why, whether they its in the PMs or possibly even through TeamSpeak, however it's best to be able to keep a track of the conversation. In addition to this, there should be some sort of easily accessible system in which people may contest the removal of their post. I think it should be something similar to when people report a post in combination with Admin Complaints. I'd like to end this thread by saying that this thread is not meant to discuss the reasoning behind the deleted post in the thread I've mentioned before. This is entirely meant to discuss my suggestions mentioned in the third paragraph. Fire, thanks .
  4. There's a reason they aren't public. To be frank, I don't know why but I assume it's due to some sort of possibility of an unknown exploit on the web page. The website isn't insanely detailed or anything, just literally a table that presents all the ct bans with certain admin necessary information. It's in the admin section and has been leaked a once or twice, @fantastic . Afaik though the plugin was still meant to be worked on and one day the website would be somehow tied into the sourcebans page. Take most of this with a grain of salt since I believe the CT ban plugin was worked on and finished before I got AT and might not have been present for all the conversations involved with the then current ATs of the server and the Technical Team. As for players knowing how much longer is on their CT Ban, I remember a conversation about making the page visible to the public in an admin meeting a while ago. From what I recall, the page was going to stay to Admin+ but any Admin could tell any player how much longer was on their CT Ban if a player asked. Personally, I agree and support that happening since it's nothing too exposing. Obviously the current ATs could feel something different but when I was AT that stance on was never changed.

  6. Months in the making babeyyy. Very cool, thank you.
  7. Hopefully this thread will be wrapped up soon since this exact topic comes up once every other month. Just to put my 2c in here though, I completely agree with @idealist. Don’t forget that this is a roleplaying game. Where the CTs have automatic rifles and the Ts have accessibility to to multiple powerful pistols and other guns. I don’t see how you can complain about being killed when you fully had the opportunity to take out a couple of CTs. If you really just wanted to play the game like a goody two shoes then you should’ve just tossed the gun to fellow T and let him decide what he wants to do.

  12. @Fuze Sincerely not trying to act as a nuisance here but I sent you my Steam ID and Steam Community link almost two weeks ago in a PM. Just felt like I should bump this in case something has been forgotten. Here’s my Steam ID and Community Link so you don’t have to dig through PMs. STEAM_0:0:90460146 https://steamcommunity.com/id/Manniee Thanks.
  13. Jb

As one manager already said, this has been proposed a couple of times, I believe, and even a previous manager tried to have this developed but found out this wasn't possible (might not have been exactly what was requested but iirc it was very close to what was proposed here). Personally though, I have two sides when it comes to how I feel about this "problem." I firmly believe that people should really just butter it up, realize that It's a prison with a bunch of guns and CTs who pop off their teammates heads for not crouching out of their cell after getting shot at their ass, and just shoot the CTs when the opportunity comes. However, there's quite a large part of me that just wants the best for the server, regardless if it's against me personal views. Out of all the proposals to "fix" this issue that commonly occurs on JB this is probably one of the better resolutions to the issue, as I don't ever think a rule change could ever make sense to remedy this issue, and as much as it might hurt me to say this I think it's time to actually try and come up with something that could please some people. However, as I mentioned before this might be something that's not even possible to do.

    Is that a no? :sad2:

Can you be the vibe to my rater? :love_heart:

  16. I wanted to test out this map to see what it was about, as it's insanely awesome to look at. However, there are some quirks about this map and the reasons why I don't think it would work on our server. There aren't any "cells" it's just a big confinement area where I assume ALL the Ts spawn. Then, there is this singular vent system, where the Ts get about 3 seconds to jump into right off the bat, but then the CTs have such an easy way to jump into the vents and sit there and kill any T that jumps down. The map is great by having all the regular great things JB maps have, deathgames, soccer, pool, and some more deathgames. Heres a copy and paste straight from the map page: The CTs also spawn pretty insanely far away from the T spawn, to a point where I can see the majority of the CTs just running off doing their own stuff. This map has potential but the way it right now looks pretty horrendous and most likely wouldn't be liked amongst the population. Gamebana link: https://gamebanana.com/maps/192196
  17. Later Skaters

Good luck vroski. Can't believe I've just seen this now brah.
  18. LMFAO @HAXOR Grats to all my shlimes
  19. Won’t be able to make it but good on you for trying something new, cool event.
  20. Here are the current rules concerning forced deathgames. I believe you may be understanding what people mean when they say "no forced deathgames" they probably mean that the map time doesn't meet the requirements for a deathgame yet. If you mean that these should be scrapped completely and CTs should be able to force deathgames then you may have an argument there. However, afaik the JB team is in no way looking to allow full forced deathgames as that's not how our server is, historically, and probably never will be.
  21. As others have already stated, find the best studying practice that works for you. There's a multitude of options some of them being, just re-reading the textbook over and over, making flashcards, rewrite your notes over and over until you can recite them without having to look at your original note, find a buddy and question each other, some people do better if they cram their notes just an hour before the test, and others do better if they study over a couple of days, and etc... Just from one single google search, I found this pretty informational page which includes a couple of great ways to study, https://www.topuniversities.com/student-info/health-and-support/exam-preparation-ten-study-tips. Try doing as many of them as possible and find whatever works for you the best. I think the overall tip though is to just repeatedly re-learn the information, basically to a point where you remember most of it.
