I support this and have brought it up before. I really think rust is a great game and is more popular now than when it was originally tried out. I don't know if I'd support solo duo trio as they tend to die out very quickly after wipe. I think the best way would be to start with a low pop server like 100 slots and maybe make it like 2x gather and auto stack for QoL. Vanilla is awesome but I don't think a vanilla server would end up fairing to well but I'd be for it as well. Rust good

I decompiled the map and a lot of it is custom textures and models and without those source files a lot of the stuff would have to be retextured/removed. It would take my awhile but I could proba ly accomplish it but if Darnias knows a better way to do it he'd be the guy for it.

If you get rid of first island somehow I'd be okay with adding this back. It's the fact that first island exists and this map will always devolve into camping there or making ng the Ts sit on first island the whole round. Maybe @Darnias will have an idea to make this map more playable in the long run

It will count on total time on the server. However if your referring to getting the playtime awards then no. We only look at time played on CT and T for total time when someone requests an award.

I'd say someone is more likely to give a map a chance if they can watch a 2 minute video showing everything available in a map rather than having to play the game mode for hours to find everything out or walk around aimlessly no?

Do you think a video that show cases all secrets would help combat issues like this for this map or others in the future?

I'm curious, do you think it's not given a chance because it's not played often so people aren't sure where the spots for guns are or how to rebel, or CTs aren't sure how to approach keeping order?

We discussed this quick and we determined that although not explicitly stated above, a ladder leading directly to a secret falls under the same logic as ladders connected to cat walks. In this case that ladder is infact KOS since it's directly connected to a secret and we will update the thread referenced above to clearly state this.

We have been down a similar road in the past and ultimately it was decided that this isn't the road we want to go down. If someone is active and competent enough to handle any kind of administrative powers I implore them to just apply for admin. Thank you for the suggestion though!

You can try opening your command prompt and type in "ipconfig /release" and then "ipconfig /renew" That will give you a new up address and may help you out but no guarantees
