  2. what's the crafting level required for ia?

  3. ???? This profile picture has been a one of Steam's default since L4D1 and I sincerely doubt Fuze plays casual. I recommend you watch something else to pass the time
  4. I kinda joined SG via the 1v1 server, I guess it was the first/second server I joined. It died down very fast and never gained in popularity afterwards. Back then, you'd frequently load the server with old admins and regs, but the genre kinda died. When left alone, people wouldn't join at all and that's why it was replaced. I don't think it'd be reasonable to bring it back thinking it would be different without a plan or some concrete change and effort being put into it. If we just replace ffa with the old server we had, it won't lift off and it'll be dead from the start, we'd need to be innovative or proactive with it.
  5. tbh I see absolutely no use, it'll probably be glitched as fuck (considering that /tp command is a mess) and for the short amount of time it *could* be used, I'm not sure it is worth the workload.
  6. :]

  7. I don't know what that section in the menu is, but I assume we would have to use the same plugin as before.
  8. gloves and ws caused a fuckload of problems back when they were added. I always hated having to deal with issues for the sake of having customized shit. The old gloves look absolutely horrific, but oh well.

  15. Attention! All Steam-Gamers. @Black Rain is in great danger and she needs your help to not fail med school. But to do this, she'll need more than a couple of days worth of studying breaks. All she needs is your credit card number, expiration month and year, and the three digits on the back... Some dank clips! Welcome back gamers to the second edition of clip of the month 2 months late! As you may or may not have known, our community actually has its own YouTube channel for you to submit videos to be featured on. unfortunately over the past few years, this channel has died down and is currently inactive, but that is what these threads are about. We are going to be reviving our YouTube channel with your help. This contest will include prizes for the winners, as well as an awesome video stitched together by our Media Team featured at the end of the contest. This video will be a montage of all of the submitted clips given they have good enough quality. How Can I Submit Videos? Video Submissions will be available via this form which can also be found by clicking the banner up top. When linking to the video, we ask that you upload it to google drive as a .mp4 file and give us the share link where the form asks for a link to the clip. Please remember to use quality over quantity. Any clips submitted that have poor quality or no meaning will not be used nor considered in the video and contest. What Kinds of Clips Can I Submit? You are allowed to submit any clips from any game or server so long as it remains related to SG. This can mean playing another game such as Overwatch, Fortnite, TF2, etc. with people from SG, or from your time spent on the servers. There is no time restriction on the submissions for these clips, but we ask that you not submit a full demo or gameplay footage to skim through. This does not mean you cannot record with these methods and take clips out yourself to submit. A few methods of recording gameplay are things like plays.tv, steamlabs, OBS, etc. The general requirements for submissions are: - Clips must be SG related in some way, shape, or form - Quality over quantity. Dont spam bad clips or videos - There is no time limit nor requirement, this goes with quality over quantity - Only video files will be accepted. Do NOT submit demo files. Youtube, playstv, twitch, or any other reliable video player where I can download the video. How will this be judged? There will be a panel of three judges. The judges for this month's contest are TBD. At the end of the month, these judges will look over all of the submissions and agree on which clip and player won first, second, and third place. These winners will then be announced with the release of the compilation video on our Official Youtube Channel. First Place Prize: 3 random steam games + possibly a surprise CSGO skin ! Second Place Prize: 2 random steam games Third Place Prize: 1 random steam game Submissions for this contest will end on Sunday February 24th. Any videos submitted after this deadline will roll over and be considered for the next Clip of The Month (unless I am lazy and fail to edit the video quicker, we'll see). The winner will not be receiving the YouTube forum award, as this award is being saved for fully edited and submitted videos through the proper form in the YouTube section of our forums. I will be using clips that were sent to us in between the last cotm and this one, don't bother re-posting them! Also, I do not consider clips that are already edited, keep that in mind as I do receive a considerable amount of them. The prizes for the previous months have yet to be dealt with, because I stepped down in between and couldn't get the ball rolling during my absence, we should be PM'ing/posting on this thread whenever it is sorted out! Good luck to all you gamers, and don't forget to tell mom to get the camera! SUBMIT A VIDEO NOW thanks cept for the formatting
  16. You don't get a badge from being prime. The badge you may be referring to is the one you obtained before CS was p2p.
  17. You can level up your CSGO profile to 21 to get free prime. Might've been a good idea to do some research beforehand. Anyways, you had to buy the game in the past to even play CS, I don't see how this is a dick move. Cheaters are a complicated thing to deal with simply with admins, from experience. Have a lot of fun with your newly acquired prime matchmaking experience!

  19. This. I would hate to limit the capacity of people to express themselves. A plugin doesn't differentiate spam and legitimate microphone usage. This would be like adding an anti-freekill/rdm plugin on TTT/JB. Sure, it catches whoever gets 5 kills in a matter of seconds, but chances are it'll affect innocent players too. It has happened to a good portion of all of us to use our mic for more than 10 seconds in one shot, it'd be kinda ridiculous to completely restrict everyone's right to talk for a couple of idiots' behaviors. I understand the point behind such a measure but the issue isn't big enough for me to think we'd need a plugin to mute x player after y amount of time. It wouldn't solve the problem and would potentially hurt legitimate players. If the issue is admining, like I see a couple of people here mentioning, sad to say, you'll have to do your job better. Silent rounds are to be used as a last resort, not for fun or simply out of laziness. Target spammers and be tougher on them, but please don't hit the entire server with such a restrictive plugin. If admins abuse silent rounds because they can't handle a server with 4-5 people being obnoxiously loud, they should review their methods or have a complaint sent their way. I'm kinda surprised that people are in favor of such a plugin, it would seem to me that it'd act more like a disruption rather than a solution.
  20. Reminder for everyone that enabling that cvar wouldn't "lock" people out of our servers, but rather change it back to how it's been since the CS franchise was released, except that now, it's even easier to get that "paid" player status. You either pay for the game, or you reach level 21 in game to gain prime status, which kinda goes back to what @tides was saying. It's not directly linked to account playtime, but it requires playtime to get level 21. I think enabling prime on JB, TTT, MG, and Scrim (scrim wouldn't really be necessary, as it is kinda easy to track the few players that play and grief) would be beneficial more than detrimental to our servers. It would definitely have an impact, but then again our servers have performed quite well in the past, before Valve introduced those changes. The effects aren't really measurable but I think it'd be best for us to enable prime on those key servers.
  21. as a colorblind gamer, i can understand you. but if everyone had a wavy color shift going through their names, i'd probably gouge my eyes out. There's a finite amount of colors we can possibly use for all the ranks we have (without colors looking like one another). I think we're fine as of now, that's excluding the amount of rework on the forums u gotta do to change all the colors, rank bars, etc.
