Map Suggestion Full map name TTT_Outset_Island Type of map TTT Link to map download https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=761923626 Additional Information A really well designed map visual wise but I’m not sure map wise as I haven’t actually played on the map. But the visuals on this map definitely caught my attention as they are basically a mirror image of some of the Zelda games. It probably would be a spread out map that would be more sniper focused. But I think that it is worth testing out to see if people like the map and wether or not it should be kept in the rotation Also max players on this map is 32 and server max is 36. I’m guessing that that this map will have some bad weapon spawn positioning so maybe if you guys were to add it, it would be nice to switch/change it if it does have bad weapon spawn positions Screenshots attached Yes

We should not have an automatic system that will end the round if certain requirements are met, as every round is played out differently

I think that we should test it out and extend the round to like 6 minutes but not 7-8 minutes. Most of these big maps CTs just order them to go to one or two areas and have Ts sit there for the rest of the round majority of the time. I don’t think that extending the time that much will help players explore the map but would rather delay the round even longer.

Map Removal Full map name ttt_yakuza_v2 Type of map TTT Why should we remove it I really like the original game and the theme of this map but this map is just way too compacted and the map is essentially constantly forcing you to use stairs and elevators to search for people who are in buildings which makes it even worse.

On another TTT server there is a feature for the scoreboard where once a player dies and gets ided they get moved to the bottom of the scoreboard so its easier for the alive players to tell which player is dead/ided and which person isn't. I think that it would be a great addition to SG's TTT server as it's usually hard to tell which person is alive and which person isn't and you would have to scroll through the scoreboard sometimes just to find out who is alive or dead Also, the thing where if someone were to join the server in the middle of the round, they would be considered as alive on the scoreboard still hasn't been fully resolved yet and it is a major issue as it can be the difference between having innocents win versus a terrorist win. the only thing if found about for players joining and being seen as an alive player: https://www.steam-gamers.net/forum/showthread.php?t=85209

You were not the only person/main person that just constantly had chat orders, it was more of a group effort as a lot of people did it just to try to cause chaos or try to get the Ts killed. Example guy types orders in chat but says “look at chat” on mic, like why are you typing in chat so less people would notice it but would just constantly say “look at chat” into your mic. I think what the JB team is trying to do is stray away from chat orders while letting players with no mics play on CT. Someone giving chat orders compared to mic orders just make the game totally different in my opinion and chat orders just make things more complicated then things need to be.

I brought it up back then but it didn’t really get any traction. As for the plugin I personally think that we should copy how another community does it. Where if you’re muted and you try to use your mic a console message pops up at the middle bottom of the screen that says that you are muted This is useful because it tells newer/active players that they are muted and the other players can’t hear them. It’s one of the worst feelings in the world to just talk about something, only to find out that you were muted all this time from an admin or from the server.

I agree that racism and racial slurs are bad. But I do not think that players should be restrained from using them here and there in casual conversation, as some people integrated some of these words into their list of vocabulary words that they use everyday. It has come to the point where part of society has accepted these words as essentially regular “curse words”, as opposed to actually discriminating someone. Some popular books that schools use have racial slurs in them and most commonly you see racial slurs in a lot of music in this day and age. These words now don’t have the same type of weight as they had before since more people accept it and a lot of people use it in a different way, even though some of these words have a very long history behind them. Also as far as the “Admin Discretion” goes I think that admins(including me) are a bit too lenient with it and should try to be more strict with it, since there have been times where players have overstepped their boundaries multiple times and didn’t get punished for it and for that I’m sorry and I should have personally done a better job at handling the situation.

Yes, you can just look around for others opinion but most people wouldn't really give you a straight/well thought out opinion of you. An admin app makes it so more people know that you want/still want the admin role and would look out for you to see what you can improve on or what you do good with. Also admin apps can reach out to a broader audience as opposed to the servers where you ask the question to the server and one or two people answer or go on your friends list to ask and you would also get one or two responses.

I disagree completely with this idea of bringing back 100 posts because it just discourages players from wanting to become admin or staying or even worse restricts a potentially great admin from becoming admin because the person doesn't like to post on the forums or takes too long for him or her to get 100 posts since they solely focus on server work. With a 10 post limit for applications the applicant can see what they need to improve on and what they do well through the application voting process. Also all of the applications get reviewed by the higher ups and many people trust the higher ups to make that judgement in whether or not someone should become admin or not.

The only way I see this being added and it being pretty cool is to add it to MG and make it to where it has a 1-5 percent chance of hearing a random sound effect when someone headshots another person. It would be a pretty cool Easter egg to find but overall as people said in this post I don’t see a need in having it and I can see that it can be annoying when every time someone dies a sound effect would pop up

this is an old map and it was removed because there weren't many unique secrets and the map layout was bad. Also many CTs would just give the same orders every round to go to ice hockey Even though there were updates to the map they weren't really any major updates to the map the only updates were textures and a few minor death game changes. I would say for the most part you wouldn’t get banned for it since it doesn’t really give you an advantage when you use it to scroll through items. Also most admins just look to see wether or not you use it for bhopping rather then using it to switch weapons. But as for the rules on the servers it doesn’t say specifically that you can use it for switching items it just says that your not allowed to use a hyperscroll.

For the most part you wont get banned for having a group. But there are certain things that you cant have. I would compare this to freedom of speech you have the right to talk, but there are things that you cant just say or scream out loud in public. It's mostly a case to case bases though

No even though the round is over the game is still played normally. A similar scenario would be CTs not being able to spray down Ts after the round is over, once a round timer ends it doesn’t mean that there aren’t any rules to the server anymore for freekilling

they can just make it to where you can only take it twice in a row similar to what they did with the !fo command. rather then having a extra rule for it

For the list for favorite servers it would probably be updated when the new forums comes out, unless it is easily changeable in the current version of the forums I think that they should just leave it at 3 server limit cause it gives a more accurate estimate in what your favorite servers are.

This is why we have the changelog posts for anything that gets updated on the servers, such as rules. Also we have the rule discussion section if people want to talk about any rules they want to be added changed or removed for the people who aren't up to date with the rules because they only read the rules on the servers, that all lies on the AO+ to do their job in updating them.
