  3. I'm pleased to announce what is definitely a long overdue update for the CS:GO Store. This has been in the works for a few months now and contains a load of new content, and some new features as well. I hope you guys enjoy it, and look out for more updates coming in the near future. 4. From my perceptive it seems like people are using karma as a ranking system rather than what is what meant to be in the first place, a way to encourage people to play the game mode properly. Why don't we just cut to the chase and actually implement a real ranking system rather than using something like karma as a weak substitute for it, which it shouldn't have become in the first place.
  5. Am I missing something? Because we removed the RDM rank and the stats for it back in October.
  6. CSS MG. Almost a year since we last did it, and it was one of our most populated MGT events.
  7. I don't have a mic and don't use TeamSpeak or Discord much at all, so I don't really have any strong opinions about either one. As an outside observer though it does seem to me that Discord is pretty much expected by people nowadays, and I think just outright rejecting the idea based on what others have posted months or years ago is a bit lazy to be honest. It's use among gaming communities is only getting bigger and the requests that we start using aren't going to stop. We obviously shouldn't only base our decisions on what's popular right at this moment, but it's pretty clear TeamSpeak is going the way of Ventrilo. I'm really not sure how well this argument that we absolutely require the control or features of TS holds up, there are many communities that are far larger than us that use Discord as their main voice chat app, and I think we're at risk of getting left behind in this area and maybe pushing people away from our community because of a stubbornness to change. I'm probably not the best person to make this argument, but this is just my personal opinion anyway.
  8. Any tickets you've bought in the current raffle are still valid, even if you're not a VIP anymore.
  9. Approved and implemented!
  10. ckSurf doesn't support GOTV. It thinks the GOTV bot is the replay bot which is why it doesn't work. There's no way to fix it on our end, sorry.
  11. SB++

An update on this: We've decided to move our system to SourceBans++. Up until this point our system has been using a now fairly old version of the original SB plugin, but we've been encountering an increasing number of bugs with that version over the past few months, which is why we're finally making the switch. As of a few days ago the servers are running the latest stable version of the SB++ plugin (1.6.2). On the web side we are also moving to the SB++ web panel to replace the old one. It's been setup from a clean install and at new location (https://www.steam-gamers.net/sourcebans/). You will have to re-login through the new panel. But on the plus side you can now also login through steam, and as it's on our main domain SSL is enabled as well. A redirect from the old location has also been setup which will mean any old links or bookmarks you have should still work. We've been planning and working on this for the past few weeks so we don't anticipate running into any problems with the move. As always though you can let us know if you encounter any issues. @All Ts you finally got your wish.
  12. As some of you may have noticed the servers are back up and running as normal again. The working fix ending up being to add GOTV to the crashing servers (yes, really). We'll update you guys if anything changes going forward. Thank you for your patience guys, and please join me in wishing Valve a very merry and much deserved: Fuck you.
  13. Some temporary fixes have been implemented on a few of the servers. These are very weak fixes, but they're the best we can do at the moment. You should expect all the servers to still be unstable and prone to crashes, at least until an official patch is released by either Valve or the SourceMod developers.
  14. To answer your original question: That shouldn't be an issue anymore. There were some bugs reported back last year that sometimes items weren't equipping properly for people. But there's been multiple fixes and updates since then, and we haven't had any reports of that happening in a long while.
  15. This is what's on your other account: L 10/22/2016 - 17:12:47: [sgstore_csgo.smx] ?Tomato Boy?
  16. Every Store purchase on the servers is logged. It's physically impossible for it to have taken credits out of your account and then also not show up in the logs. From the log file on PB: L 09/12/2017 - 20:38:10: [sgstore_csgo.smx] GGabee
  17. It was an issue with Sourcemod, which has been updated. You should be able to earn points again now.
  18. This will most likely come in the next store update. I don't have any ETA for when that might be right now, but it will get added hopefully sometime in the near future.
  19. Like @All Ts said we'd have to edit the current Jihad plugin (or make our own version) and integrate it with the store. Unfortunately that would be quite time consuming to make, and doing it for just the jihad sounds is not something that is really practical right now.
  20. While it is technically do-able, it'll take a fair amount work to implement. If a lot of people wanted to see this happen then I could consider adding it to the course timer, but for now this probably won't be added.
  21. I've tested it on ZE and MG and it seems to be working fine. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=901558216 http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=901558265 The way CS:GO opens web pages in-game occasionally breaks, causing the popup to not open. There's not really anything we can do about it on our end since it's a problem with the way Valve coded it.
  22. @EnjoiiEgg This was just a bug in the store's code. The store already does a check for any item that a person doesn't have the correct rank for, and it is meant to automatically unequip it, but the check apparently didn't take sub only items into account. It should be fixed now.
  23. As far as adding new pets like cats, dogs, wolves, and anything else. The answer is the same as what I've said here. In relation to them being behind the player instead of on the shoulder. There isn't a set position that pets are forced to be in, the exact position is set via a config file and can be what ever we want it to be. The current pets are on the shoulder because I felt that the small size of the models meant that they would be a little more noticeable and nicer looking if they were on the shoulder, not to mention it'd look a little weird if they were floating behind the player.
