Sorry to quote the rules to you, but this would be an atrocity for possibly 20+ players to have to experience. Regardless, the main point of the tag was to see what was up with the new LR plugin. I thought I had recalled something about custom lrs in the community meeting.

If I’m not wrong, with the new lr plugin coming I believe it has something like that built into it ( @fantastic @Manny ). However your example for a custom LR is atrocious. Having ts and cts do something lengthy like decathlon would last the entire round, and that’s clearly against serve rules. Other custom lrs I’ve seen are exceptable, but I just wanted to point that one out.

This was already discussed in these two posts. The general consensus was SG would lose a LOT of money, money that would go to hosting the SG servers. @Frostbitten carried the discussions in each post (Thanks).

On servers like retakes and 1v1 the rounds end extremely quickly, so even with the default stream delay of thirty seconds the effects on the server would be minimal from ghosting through streaming. The main servers that I believe would have issues with someone streaming would be TTT, JB, and Scrim. If you want to read the original post about this, here it is.

I think my and @Snatch_Tee 's original message has been convoluted so I'll clear it up: When loading into a map, and you spawn in late you'll be dead and sit out the round. However, occasionally players who join and connect after you will spawn in and be able to play the round.

I've also experienced people who join after me be alive, while I stay dead. I can't answer you there, but maybe @fantastic and @Agent Wesker can help. This is the same plugin/new feature but not the bug being discussed.

On top of what @urp said, the first round really only consists of three-five alive players. The first round ends extremely quickly. This fix was put in place so we wouldn’t have an abundant amount of afk cts or ts.
